English Language Teacher (UK Nationality)

All lessons in Podar School are taught in English. It is important that the standards of written and spoken English of classroom staff support the children in their development of English. These posts will involve travel within India as you support several schools.

Responsibilities include

  • Delivering English Language workshop to students aged 6-14
  • Delivering English Language development workshops to teachers
  • Sharing good practice in the teaching of English
  • Participating in parent and teacher seminars
  • Supporting the marketing of new Podar schools

Essentials

  • A teaching qualification (for adults and / or children)
  • A passion for working with children
  • Enthusiastic about working in India
  • Culturally sensitive
  • UK university graduate

Salary :
Competitive UK salary with increment in completion of the one year

Teachers of English Language and Literature (UK Nationality)

Podar International School, an institution with 8 decades of experience in education and over 70 schools across India

These roles are for classroom teacher, working across the 7-17 age range and also feature responsibility for sharing good practice within the school. You will be working in the school that uses Cambridge International Examination as their curriculum framework.

Responsibilities include :

  • All classroom responsibilities associated with teaching English language and Literature to children aged 7-17
  • Sharing good practice in the teaching of English and leading master classes
  • Supporting school self-evaluation processes including lesson observation
  • Contributing to curriculum development.

Essentials :

  • A Teaching qualification (for adult and / or children)
  • A passion for working with children
  • Culturally sensitive
  • Enthusiastic about working in India
  • UK University graduate in English or associated subject

Salary :
Competitive UK Salary with increment on completion of one year.
