The Farewell is the roller-coaster ride of emotions and Podar International School, Ambejogai has experienced the same on 10th Feb.2024.The Farewell Ceremony of Grade-X students was marked by gratitude and nostalgia as students and teachers came together to bid adieu to the Grade-X students. Various fun games were organized for them and they have enjoyed a lot. Teachers wished them luck for their Board Examinations and future endeavors. To etch the memories of these beautiful days, the event concluded with a group photograph, return gifts as a token of love. At last Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir promised that there are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our heart and always you will be a *PODARITE*. Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated National Youth Day & Jijau Jayanti on 12/01/2024 in the morning assembly.12th January is celebrated as National Youth Day every year on account of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti. Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are source of inspiration for youth of India & gives inspiration to follow the right path and achieve success. Also Rajmata Jijau Jayanti is celebrated on 12th January every year. Speaking on this occasion Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir appealed to students to follow Swami Vivekananda thoughts, ideals and work for national development along with self development. Podar International School #Ambajogai celebrated the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule on 03/01/2024 in the morning assembly. Every year on January 3rd, India celebrates a special day called Savitribai Phule Jayanti. It's not just any birthday, it's a day to remember and honour a remarkable woman who fought for girls' education and sparked a revolution in India. While addressing the assembly Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh said that Savitribai Phule challenged the conventional gender roles prevalent in the 19th century when the British colonized India, a time when women's issues were seldom addressed. She, along with her husband Jyotirao Phule, established India's first school for women in Pune in 1848. Savitribai was the first-ever female teacher in India and went on to establish 17 more schools. Christmas brings cheer & love in every one's life. Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated Christmas on 22nd De/cember,2023 with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among the students under the guidance of Hon principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. The entry of Santa Claus to the tune of Christmas carols took the students by surprise. It was a joyous experience for students which added a little more glitter to the celebration. Podar International school #Ambajogai is always organizing training, workshops and seminars for teacher's growth. On 19th December,2023 Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir conducted the training session on the topic Classroom Management for the teachers. When teachers attend training programs, it gives them the opportunity for continuous professional development - to learn new ways, methods, strategies, skills and tools. As a strong step towards making our children safe, Podar International School, #Ambajogai conducted a workshop in the school campus on the topic of, ‘Good Touch Bad Touch' for the students of Grade I-X under the guidance of Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. On 16th December,2023 workshop was conducted by the school coordinators Dr. Renu Zirmire, Ms.Jagruti Chavan, Ms.Jyoti Swami, Mr.Sagar Kendre and Mr.Ravikiran Shinde with the objective of spreading awareness and educating children about good and bad touch, at a time when child abuse and molestation exist as dark realities in society today. The interactive workshop also dwelled on the urgent need to empower young children to report any abuse, apprehension or fear that they may have to selected adults in the school that include teacher, coordinator, Principal and other adults the students may feel safe with. The school-wide theme 'MYTH BUSTERS' culminated in Myths & Legends-'Believe IT Or Not' at Podar International School, #Ambajogai on 16th Dec.2023. The event was about uncovering Myths, Fairy Tales and Legends engraved in time. Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir said that the theme is about educating students on the concept of myths & legends, understanding the relevance of myths & legends in exploring the history, traditions ,beliefs & customs of various communities and countries across the world. Students from Grade I to VIII have participated in various activities such as Fashion Show, Knit a Skit, Myths & Legends Quiz and Characters Come Alive! Here are a few glimpses of the event.
Counseling for teens helps adolescents learn healthy coping skills and set realistic goals. Mental health counseling provides a safe space for teens to explore distressing thoughts and emotions, work through childhood trauma, and build stronger connections with family members.
Girls Counseling Session was conducted at Podar International School #Ambajogai regarding personal hygiene and mental health. School nurse Ms. Shital Salve briefed about taking care of personal hygiene and Sr. Coordinator Dr. Renu Zirmire and Primary Coordinator Ms. Jyoti Swami guided them with coping skills for mental stress.
On 2nd December, 2023, Podar International School, Ambejogai celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Meet called Zenith-4. The event took place in the spacious playground of the school. The District Sports Officer of Beed Mrs. Suhasini Ma'am was the chief guest of the event. A large temporary sitting arena was constructed for the parents and students to sit and enjoy the day. The Sports Meet started with an inaugural address by Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. The Sports Day started with the Torch Run and March Past of the four different houses. After the march past, the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like running, frog jump, sack race, lemon spoon, kho-kho, Kabaddi etc. Points were given to the four houses depending on the performance of their representatives in the event. At last, Aqua House was declared as the champion house of the year. Here are few glimpses of the event.

Every time we smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. If we are not maintaining oral hygiene, bacteria can reach to the levels that might lead to oral infections, such as tooth decay and gum diseases. Podar International School, #Ambajogai took an initiative of spreading dental care awareness by organizing two days Dental Checkup Camp with the help of Dr.Kalyan Lad Sir, a dentist on 28th and 29th November,2023.
It aimed at the health of the mouth and look for any sign of cavities, gum disease, infection or any other dental health problem. Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir said to students 'Be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you. 'Her are few photographs of 2 Days Dental Checkup Camp.
Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body. Garba is to express, not to impress.” The festival of Navratri comes with a promise of nine days filled with fun, frolic and dance all around symbolizing victory of positivity over negativity. It is one of the most anticipated festival in the youth.
Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated the “Dandiya Night” on Saturday evening, 21st October 2023 in the school premises with great enthusiasm. The school campus was adorned with amazing decoration and had a divine presence. Traditional dress code “Ghaghra choli” was followed by all the girl students and female parents as the program was arranged for Female Parents Only. All the female parents, students and teachers danced to the tunes of folk garba beats very devotedly, with their hearts out, creating a vibrant and exuberant show.
This event brought awareness among the students about the traditional customs while enjoying the Dandiya night. The whole celebration was full of enthusiasm, fun and franticness. The entire campus was a huge family tapping their feet to match up the festival spirit. The celebration ended up with the prize distribution. Parents and students were awarded for their awesome performances. They were also entitled for their talent and looks. Hon. Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir enthusiastically advocated the extreme need to love and respect children from such strata of society, which indeed are a unique creation of God. The school creates awareness among the students about the rich diversity of Indian festivals celebrated across the country, and their significance.

Podar International School #Ambajogai, hosted its 3rd Annual Sports Meet on Saturday, 3rd Dec. 2022. With such enthusiastic events, students not only get a break from their studies, but they also get to participate in various sports and apply strength in their arms on the field.
The programme began with a flag hoisting and school song. Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh welcomed and felicitated Chief Guest Mr. Sharad Zadke (Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ambajogai) and guest of honour Mr. Pravin Deshmukh (Vice President of District Badminton Association, Beed). This was followed by Torch Run and March Past by saluting dignitaries. In the welcome speech Hon. Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh had ignited the inner sportsman inside the students. This was followed by an energetic session of Pom-Pom Drill and Lezim, which warmed everyone up for the forthcoming physical activities. On this occasion school has felicitated special guest Ms. Rashmita Sahoo (Nayab Tahsildar, Mantha Dist. Jalna) who belongs from Ambajogai and had been selected from Sports Quota through MPSC.
During closing ceremony students performed rhythmic steps with Hula-Hoop Rings. Parents participated in Tug-O-War enthusiastically.
