Day before Ganesh Chaturthi , Podar International School # Ambernath organised an online Eco friendly Ganpati making activtiy on August 21, 2020.
Grade 1 - 4 students had Ganpati making from Origami and Grade 5-10 had Ganpati Idol making. Students used Shadu mud, flour,dough, turmeric dough and other materials available in the house for making the idol.
Enthusiasm amongst students was such high that the entire atmosphere turned into real old Indian Culture.Children made Ganesh idols and origami with devotion, passion and creativity.
“The children were asked to embed the idols with seeds so that they could be immersed at [makeshift ponds] in gardens and plants could be grown.”

On the wake of ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and following the guidelines issued by the government, Podar International School Ambernath celebrated the Virtual online Independence Day with great enthusism and patriotic fervor. The Flag hoisting was done by the our Principal Mrs. Zeenat Syed ma’am and the staff members at the school.
The school celebrated this 74th Independence Day virtually along with the students.The spirit of freedom & nationalism was well exhibited by the Grade 1 to 4 students through a spectrum of patriotic songs,speeches and performances. The students enlightened everyone present ,with the speeches on the contribution of unsung heroesof the Indian freedom struggle.
To bring out the singing talent of the students, A solo singing competition was organised for Grade 5 to 10 students. The theme for the competition was “Patriotic Songs”. The Students put forth their enthralling performances. The competitors gave out a variety of song .They came up with such melodious voices which in the run attracted the attention of all the online parents n students.All our young maestros who took part in the competition made the competition a great success. All of them sang to their level best.

The ability to be creative, to create something expressing personal feelings and experiences, can reflect and nurture children's emotional health. Creativity fosters mental growth as well by providing opportunities for trying out new ideas, and new ways of thinking and problem-solving.
Podar International School # Ambernath organised a creative craft making activity on August 14,2020 for grade 1 & 2 students as a part of Independence day celebration.The students used lentils, craft papers, waste materials, to bring out something new n creative.
The students displayed their unique ideas through different craft works.
Through creative arts we aspire to develop aesthetic sense in our students and give them a platform where they are able to express themselves freely.

Advertisements are commercials that are designed to get the attention of the consumers. The purpose behind them is to get motivate the consumers. It requires a lot of creativity and some quirk. Ads comprise both humour and conceptual presentation.
An Intra School Ad-Mad Competition was held by Podar International School # Ambernath on August 14,2020 for the students of classes III to V.
The competition was bi-lingual wherein the participants were judged on content, jingles, presentation ,act and overall performance. Each student presented their ad with gusto. The online advertisement had excellent input of humour along with commercial and social messages. Each Student presented a unique piece of performance. Besides showing ads with social message it was a good confidence building exercise.
It not only showcased their acting skills but also the impromptu ability to use the cognitive skill.
"THE LIFE YOU WANT BEGINS BY EMBRACING THE LIFE YOU HAVE"
Podar International School, Ambernath conducted a Parivartan Drive - Celebrate Life under the theme The Pursuit of Happiness. The students of Grade 6 to 8 participated in the drive and reached out to the people through strong messages on Celebrating Life, Stress Management, Anger Management, Safe Holi and Awareness to prevent the Corona Virus through a rally from Hutatma Chowk to Ambernath Station wherein the students presented motivational song, street play, dance and also distributed pamphlets. The Principal Ms. Zeenat Syed motivated the localities by her inspirational thoughts on embracing a stress free life.
Annual Function is the most important event in the school calendar, Podar International School, Ambernath celebrated its 4th Annual Day - 'Nrityatarang', 'Happily N' Ever After' with a lot of enthusiasm and fervour. The galaxy of distinguished guests Mr. Bhavesh Bhalerao (Principal PIS Kalyan, ICSE), Mr. Narendra Gajbhiye (Civil Judge Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate, Ulhasnagar), Mr. Rajesh Laddha (Additional Executive Engineer - MSEDCL) and Mr. Sanjay Dhumal ( Senior Police Inspector, Ambernath) who graced the ocassion. The annual day was a journey into thriving compassion among characters and heart touching scenes interwoven into a dramatically overwhelming performances by the students. The exhilarating show was an unforgettable experience and left a lasting on the minds of the witnesses.

To commemorate the invention of ‘The Raman Effect’ by the veteran Indian Physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, National Science Day was celebrated at Podar International School, Ambernath with great enthusiasm on February 28, 2020.
Students presented a special assembly wherein they shared about the history and importance of Science Day. An extravagant Science Exhibition was organised wherein the young future scientists prepared and presented different working models. Parents witnessed the spectacular exhibition and appreciated the hardwork put in by the teachers and students.
Podar International School, Ambernath celebrated its Annual Sports Day - Parivartan on the 30th of November, 2019. On a cold and misty day, the staff and students of PIS, Ambernath warmed up to an exciting and competitive day, with the welcoming of the chief guests, Mr. Pawan Bhoir, Ms. Nilima Naidu, PI Mr. Ali. The event commenced with the introduction of the esteemed guests followed by a motivational song by the angelic voices of PIS Choir, "Lehron se dar kar nauka par nahi hoti, koshish karnewalon ki kabhi haar nahi hoti.." The honorable Chief Guest, Principal Ms. Zeenat Syed, Vice-Principal Ms. Vijay Bharthi officiated the Sports Meet by hoisting the School Flag followed by the glorious torch run, walkethon by the participants and the Oath. The Principal and Guests addressed the audience by their inspiring words and declared the Sports Meet Open. The gamut of activities consisted of thought provoking, spectacular drills with strong social messages, various innovative races for students and parents. The programme concluded with the vote of thanks to all who had put this show together and the national anthem, bringing the curtain down on a successful event.
