Education Fair - 2017

Education Fair was held at N.D. Hotel, Chandrapur organized by Navbharat Times. Mr. Sudhir Mungantiwar-Cabinet Minister of Finance, Planning, and Forest Departments - Govt. of Maharashtra attended our stall.

Parivartan Drive 2016-2017

On 4th March 2017 42 students of PIS Chandrapur of Std. 4th 5th and 6th took part in PARIVARTAN DRIVE as per the topic BE GOOD DO GOOD. Students were taken to a prominent area of the city by our school buses at around 8.45 am and the rally started at 9.00 am under the supervision of teachers and staff. Rally was accompanied by the Local police and traffic authorities. Students performed NUKKAD NATAK and Song as per the docket. Rally ended at around 9.50 am - after walking almost 1 km. The students were back to the school campus safely. There was a student discussion after the rally.

1st Annual Sports Day 2016-2017

Mr. Anant Bhobade District Sport Officer ,Chandrapur was the Chief Guest of the event. The program started at 8.45 am by welcoming the Chief Guest followed by March Past by the students of various Houses and other events.

68th Republic Day Celebration - 2017

PIS Chandrapur celebrated 68th Republic Day. The chief guest of the event was Mr. Rajesh Laxmi Das Virani- an advocate by profession and also member of Income Tax Bar Association. Programme started off at 8.00 am by felicitating the chief guest. This was followed by unfurling of the National Flag.

1st Annual Day Celebration - 2016

On 12 December 2016 PIS Chandrapur celebrated their 1st Annual Day. The Chief Guest of the event was Dr. Kirtiwardhan Dixit,Principal Rajiv Gandhi Engineering College,Chandrapur. The event was attended by GM Nagpur Hub region and principals of Nagpur-Katol and Bhandra other than the distinguished guests and parents.

Rann Utsav - 2016

PIS Chandrapur had a special assembly on RANN UTSAV showcasing the culture and festivities of Kutch and Gujarat region to the students. Students of 5th and 6th std. took part in the play and dance.

BELIEVE IT or NOT- A Story Handed Down through History - 2016

On 22nd October 2016 PIS Chandrapur conducted special morning assembly on BELIEVE IT OR NOT- a culminating event under theme MYTH BUSTERS. Over the last one month PIS Chandrapur students took part in discovering various myths, displaying the facts etc under the event. Students of each grade performed different Myths and Legends from around the world.

Visit to Gram Panchayat : Soc. Science Curriculum - 2016

Students of grade 6th on (14th Oct.16) visited a village close to the institution to interact with Gram Panchayat Sarpanch and other members. The visit to the village DATALA was as per Social Science curriculum (with ref. to the topic :Village administration)

Altogether 14 students and two escorting teachers spent more than 1 hour in the village. The session was very interactive as the students met the Gram Shabha Sarpanch and Upsarpanch. Both the members explained the system of Gram Panchayat. This was followed by a questionnaire session with our students and Panchayat members.

14th Oct.16 is celebrated as World Egg Day and to celebrate the occasion village DATALA Gram Panchayat office distributed eggs among the villagers. Our students took part in the distribution. Students were told about the importance of eating egg.

Integrated English: Culminating Event 'The Spooky Wishing Well' - 2016

On 4th October 2016-PIS Chandrapur had the Integrated English - Culminating Event-the session 4. The students put up a show : The Spooky Wishing Well - during morning assembly hours.

Visit to an Historical Place: Achaleshwar Temple - 2016

On 1st October 2016 students of Std. 3rd and 4th visited to an historical place as a part of their field trip to a famous temple -ACHALESHWAR TEMPLE situated near Achaleshwar gate, Chandrapur. Altogether 24 students and two escorting teachers visited the site. The Temple is believed to have been constructed in the early 20th century and dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also the official samadhi of Gond Kings are located in the temple's premises.
