Footprints in time 'An Archaeological expedition - The Sci Hi Museum' - 2022

The students of Podar International School Navsari celebrated today the culminating event of ‘Footprints In Time’. It was a great show. The efforts of the students and the teachers was visible.

The entire team of the teachers and students participated in the event with great pomp and show. It was great to see all the students perform so well with lot of confidence. The parents were very happy and satisfied with the work of their children. The students really enjoyed today and they learned most of the things about pre-historic and historic period. This event was organised to focus on presenting various discoveries/excavations/monuments with a Scientific element in it and the History behind it. The event aims at providing opportunities to the students to showcase their learning. It also intends to be a platform for sharing the experience that they have had during the course of the module.

The students learnt about how archaeologists were and how they use to work. The module allowed the students to follow the archaeological process and use tools that are usually during excavations. Organizing the ‘The Sci-Hi Museum’ event was a wonderful way of reaching out to the students and parents to experience some fun archaeological themed activities.

Independence Day Celebration - 2021
Podar international school #Navsari celebrated 75th independence day on 15th August 2021, with great enthusiasm. Students of Grade IX and X sang patriotic song and delivered a patriotic speech. Followed by an inspirational speech by our respected Principal mam Mrs Monica Kukreja. Four teacher’s of our school received certificate on completing 5 years in this prestigious institution. Students were awarded certificate of participation in various competitions. We followed Covid guidelines during the celebration of 75th independence day.
Activities at PIS Navsari - 2021
Present Activity done by students of Grade 5 A and 5B subject English ..Students enjoyed the drawing and they were able to identify the types of noun in the chapter The Happy Prince...Amazing display of art with creativity.
Investiture Ceremony 2021-2022
Podar International School #Navsari held investiture ceremony virtually for the year 2021-22. Students from 9th Grade participated and after voting students were chosen for designated role. Head boy of the school is Master Jishnu Paun and Head girl for the school is Kripa Patel. Committee members list also includes. Kaavya Desai, Yatra Bhatt, Renee Patel, Heer Barwaliya, Kavyansh Chandel , Dhviti Shah, Aneri Desai, Devanshi Sadawati and Krunal Shah. House captains were also elected for various roles as follows: House captains Rudra Gandhi, Virti Vora, Tejeesh, Vanshika Ahir, Urvin Rathod, Preksha Patel, Vansh Shah, Amatullah Kachwala, Museb Memon-Sports captain. International Yoga Day Celebration - 2021
Podar International School #Navsari celebrated International Yoga Day with zeal and enthusiasm, Students payed tribute to Milkha Singh our flying Sikh on this day. Students participated in mediation by seeking blessings from universe. Coach Abhishek sir guided students with yoga poses, students displayed wonderful performance. Biogas 3D Model - 2021
Podar International School #Navsari is overwhelmed to display activity created and presented by students from grade 6. Students have created a 3D model of Biogas plant and explained the process of producing biogas. Amazing creation by our young innovators.
Republic Day Celebration - 2021
Podar International School #Navsari celebrated 72nd Republic Day. Dr. Jignesh Gadhiyali was chief guest for the event. Students from Grade 10th presented a song and invoked the feelings of patriotism. In true spirit Principal ma'am, Teachers, Admin staff and Students witnessed the event with heart felt pride and joy.
Gandhi Jayanti Celebration - 2019
As a part of Gandhi Smriti, Students from Podar International School, #Navsari in association with Sayaji Vaibhav Library participated in fancy dress and Katha kathan including Mono act and vaktrutva spardha. Students depicted era of Gandhiji and emphasized on his philosophy. Students depicted the characters to name few- Rani Laxmibai, Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu and Subhash Chandra Bose and Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Parivartan Drive - 2020
Podar International School #Navsari held Privartan drive for the year 2019 – 20. As a culminating event of I.E project pursuit of Happiness. Students from Grade 3rd to 8th conducted various activities with the parents on luncikui ground. To name a few Mandla art, Wishing tree and Laughter Yoga sessions brought Smile on audience face. Band display definitely made a huge impact and display was appreciated by all.
Sports Day Celebration 2019-2020
Podar International School #Navsari conducted Annual Sports day for Grade 1 to 9 students on the 10th January. Day was filled with fervor and excitement experience amidst thrills, shrills and cheers. The chief guest for the day was the Principal of Tata Boys School Mr. Bomi Jagirdar. The day started off with lovely rendition by Podar Song. There was inter-house March Past, highly competitive events. All the displays and drills where highly awaited and it was symbolizing a source of energy. Student learnt co-operation, integrity, endeavor and team work with high spirit.
Educational Field Trip to Science City - 2020
Podar International School #Navsari held an Educational field trip to Science City Surat. Students from 6 to 9 had a fun filled day @ 3D show on universe, museum and ancient art gallery. Students enjoyed Idli Chutney, Pullav, Pav-bhaji and Wadapav as a snack. They had Fun-filled day with great learning experience.
Field Trip to Imagica - 2020
Podar International School #Navsari in association with “Smart Tours and Travels” held a tour to Lonavala - Imagica. Students from Grade 6th to 9th departed on 5th February 2020. They enjoyed rides at “Imagica” and visited “Wax Museum”. Students dipped in the swimming pool including visit to Mapro Factory. They had a blast with D.J. night and many memories to restore. It was a thrilling experience.
Field Trip to Banana Factory - 2020
Under the Volunteer Program Students of Grade 5th, 6th and 7th from Podar International School, #Navsari visited Banana Factory at Agriculture University. Students understood usage of banana fiber to make clothes, papers and cardboard. Students took some waste material and the employees showed what all products can be made by waste material and fiber including banana chocolate. It was a great learning experience.
Christmas Celebration - 2019
Podar International School, #Navsari celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2019. Students from grade 6th to 8th presented the skit based on birth of Jesus Christ. Students celebrated having Santa Claus around them and singing Christmas carols. Students thanked management for letting them have some yummy pastry as a part of celebration. Jingle bell tunes echoed all throughout the celebrations. A true Christmas spirit and joy was visible in the students.
3D Printing Competition 2019-2020

Podar International School, #Navsari participated in Prototyping the Future: 3D showcase competition held at Podar International School- Vadodara.

 

In this competition, Students from Grade 5th to 8th were participated and prepared 3D projects.
1. Grade 5th prepared Animal park - “Footprints of Fauna”.
2. Grade 6th prepared Historical Fort- “Diu Fort”.
3. Grade 7th prepared Illuminated Botanical Garden- “De Flora Lumina”.
4. Grade 8th prepared Robotic Arm- “Wreckers World”.

Event Docket - 2019
Podar International School, #Navsari organized Event: “Design Boot Camp”- Exploring Process of Making and Unmaking. Grade 1st to 8th participated in the Boot camp. Students come up with many small innovations at various levels. Students highlighted the making of each project. A great display of creativity and enthusiasm was visible
Diwali Celebration - 2019
Students from Podar International School, #Navsari celebrate Diwali Festival. Diwali is a festival of lights and it is celebrated with Joy and Happiness. Students from Grade 1st to 4th decorated Diyas, Grade 5th to 9th had Thali decoration and Rangoli competition in their classrooms. Students brought home made sweets and other food stuffs. They shared food and sweets among themselves. They enjoyed dancing with teachers. Students learnt to be cooperative, helpful and enjoy togetherness by sharing joys feelings with each others.
Navratri Celebration - 2019
Navrati is a festival that spans nine nights. Podar International School, #Navsari celebrated Navratri by lighting of the lamps followed by Aarti song. Students from grade 1st to 9th participated in Garba Dance. Students enjoyed different Garba steps in traditional colourful dresses. It is the time of religious reflection and fasting. It was great Joyce & happy moment.
The Solar Ambassador program - 2019
Global Student Solar Ambassadors Workshop was organized globally on 2nd October, 2019 to commemorate the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 50 students took part from Podar International School, #Navsari in this event including teachers.
