Kartik Iyer of Podar International School, Powai (CBSE) awarded at Singapore - 2017

Kartik Iyer of Podar International School Powai (CBSE) has emerged as one of the top ten National Champions in the National Astronomy Challenge 2017 by securing a 100 percentile in the test conducted by the SRI (STEM Research and Innovation).

SRI, one of the leading organizations which aspires to instill the growing need for Astronomy in the generations of tomorrow, organized the NAC 2017 across 29 states and 3 UTs in association with SDRO - their knowledge Partner to bring about an opportunity that facilitates a deeper understanding of Pr AST Knowledge and Pr Astrophysics Knowledge.

The Award ceremony in addition to a three day Astronomy camp for the top ten rankers was organized in Singapore. The Major attractions in the camp saw Simulator flying experience hosted by Boeing Corporation and a visit to the NUS.

Principal, Dr Neeta Bali, who believes in creating platform for the future generations to face the world with confidence, acknowledged / lauded Kartik’s performance.
