Podar International School, Sangli has won the Award for outstanding project under "Act to Impact " theme and Second position as Best Delegation at Harvard MUN (Conference)India, held at Hydrabad from 12th to 15th August. Podar School, Sangli stood different among 1500 students, from 150 Schools representing 11 nations/countries.

Two entries (groups) of PIS Sangli were qualified among 7 finalists for the final round and from that one group of three students - Mst.Tanishq Wagh, Miss Revati Kadam and Miss Manasi Kamat were awarded with position of Outstanding Project i.e. Second Rank at national level. Their project is focused on proper disposal of garbage and practising composting of organic waste at home.
