Christmas Celebration - 2022
" Christmas is for joy, for giving and sharing, for laughter, for coming together with family and friends. It was surely a Christmas to remember at Podar International School. The school wore a festive look with bells, streamers, and a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. Several activities such as decorating Christmas Trees and Stockings, making Christmas Cards and Hand-crafted bells were organized for the students. The children were told about the birth of Lord Jesus and the legend of Santa Claus. The spirit of giving and sharing was inculcated among the tiny tots. The essence of Christmas came alive when Santa Clause himself went into the classes. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of the children especially when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them."
Annual Sports Day Celebration 2022-2023

"On the 18th of November, 2022, Podar International School organized the Annual Sports Day for the year 2022-23. After a hiatus of two years due to the lingering fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, the school organized one of its most significant events. Games and sports have become integral elements of present-day education. They teach them the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit, and leadership. They also enhance the physical and mental development of children. The Principal extended a floral and formal welcome to the Chief Guests and delivered a motivational speech This was entailed by the hoisting of the School Flag and declaration of the Meet Open by Dr. Manish Saini, Senior Orthopedic Surgeon at Shelby Hospital, Surat, followed by the lighting of the flame by the Chief Guest and releasing of balloons, to mark the expression of joy and merriment. The zealous parents, gathered in large numbers, constantly applauded the participants of the Field track displays. In the end, the winners were awarded medals and certificates. The Vote of thanks was proposed by the Senior Co-coordinator."

Educational Field Trip-I - 2022
"Students of Podar International School, Surat-2 visited the Surat Fort. The Surat castle is one of the ancient monuments of the 16th century existing in the city and bears a significant relevance to its history. The Sci-Hi Museum Event 2022-23
The theme ‘FOOTPRINTS IN TIME’ – An Archaeological Expedition’ culminated in the ‘The Sci-Hi Museum’ event organized by the students and the staff members of the Podar International School, Jahangirabad, Surat within the school premises. This event focused on presenting various discoveries/excavations/monuments with a Scientific element in them and the History behind it. The event aims at providing opportunities for the students to showcase their learning.
Mock Fire Drill in school by SMC and Fire Station Department - 2022

Mock fire drills and evacuation drills were executed on 20.4.2022 at Podar International School, #Surat2 for the entire school jointly by Fire Station Deptt ,Surat Municipal Corporation, Surat Police officials, 108 Ambulance service staff, Surat to create awareness and preparedness during calamities. The students were trained to be alert, quick and responsible, follow instructions, maintain calm and avoid panic to avert stampede and casualties. The main aim of the drill was to build courage and confidence amongst students and develop leadership skills.

The staff members and the Fire team positioned themselves at pre decided vantage points to guide and assist the students as soon as the fire alarm went off. The students quickly moved out in proper lines, covering their nose. They were evacuated from the school building in 1 minutes 24 seconds as regular evacuation drills are being conducted every three month. Students are trained to reach the safe designated areas allocated for each class in case of any emergency. Head count was done by the teachers along with SMC-Fire Station personals to ensure the presence of everyone. Special training has been imparted by Fire officers to the staff members of school to handle crisis and give first-aid relief if required.

The drills focused on activation of the full response system, incorporated decision making and life safety aspects and was followed by a review session.

International Women’s Day Celebration - 2022
"Feminism isn't about making women stronger. Women are already strong. It's about changing the way the world perceives that strength." Every year on March 8, Women's Day is observed around the world to honour the social, economic, and cultural achievements of women from all areas of life. In honour of women, Podar International School celebrated International Women's Day where all the students participated enthusiastically in different activities such as bracelet making, card making and descriptive writing and our Principal Sir p13honoured all female staff by giving them cards. Awareness Programs On Good Touch And Bad Touch - 2022
"Wisdom is giving children their wings, along with the rudder of awareness to keep them safe from the prying hands……… Safety isn't expensive, it's priceless. A session on good touch and bad touch was conducted in school on 27.2.2022 by women police officers from Jahangirabad police station. During the programme, the children were very enthusiastic and interactive. They answered questions and were eager to learn. It was a workshop about how to teach the difference between ‘good touch’ and ‘bad touch'. Healthy discussions took place between students and police Officers wherein students learnt how to save themselves from the uncertainty that they may face in their surroundings. They explained a few tactics that students can apply if they are trapped in any problem related to bad touch".

73rd Republic Day Celebration - 2021
"Podar International school, Jahangirabad #surat2 celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and fervour, The programme included speech on constitution and its salient features, patriotic songs and recitation of a hindi poem. In his speech Principal sir highlighted the importance of constitution and opined that we as Indians are fortunate to have one of the largest constitutions of the world".

Science Olympiad Foundation (S.O.F.) Winners - 2021

This House Competition will give the students of Podar International School Surat2 an opportunity to imagine and draw their own interpretation of the ’Universe’. The students can use various artwork on realms of canvas/combined chart paper to depict their version of Universe. Each grade contributes to the artwork, which at the end looks like a graffiti.
