Long term traffic solution for Podar School, Santacruz.
1. Has Podar school given Road line?
Yes, the school has given Road line vide BMC letter H/E/17417/AEM dated 11-11-1993.
Letter attached - Annexure 'A'.
Podar School is only using its own FSI.
Above can be verified by BMC approved FSI calculations (Annexure 'B') which clearly shows that BMC has sanctioned our FSI only after
deducting 283.8 mtrs. road setback.
2. With the new additional construction how will Podar School manage the bus & car problems?
Two basements will be provided in each of the buildings for parking only. The government requires parking only for 61 cars, however, in the new building that is being constructed, we will provide the following parking.

All existing pick up/drop of students can be done in 2 basements as shown above.
However, if further bus requirement will be there in the future, the primary and secondary school timings can be tweaked to ensure that all the necessary buses will be accommodated in the basements at separate times.
