All lessons in Podar School are taught in English. It is important that the standards of written and spoken English of classroom staff support the children in their development of English. These posts will involve travel within India as you support several schools.

Responsibilities include:

• 1. Delivering English Language workshop to students aged 6-14

• 2. Delivering English Language development workshops to teachers

• 3. Sharing good practice in the teaching of English

• 4. Participating in parent and teacher seminars

• 5. Supporting the marketing of new Podar schools

Essentials:

• 1. A teaching qualification (for adults and / or children)

• 2. A passion for working with children

• 3. Enthusiastic about working in India

• 4. Culturally sensitive

• 5. UK university graduate

Salary:
Competitive UK salary with increment in completion of the one year

Flights:
Flights and visas organized and paid for from UK to India and return

Contract length:

You will be living near other teachers from the UK working with the Podar network of schools. Your Podar line manager, Mr. Ian Usher, has 4 years of experience in India and worked in education in the UK for several years before joining Podar.
