World Malaria Day - 2024

Raising awareness of the environmental issue is very essential to save lives around us. The very name Mosquitoes raise an alarm in the human minds due to their infamous capability of annoying and spreading a wide array of lethal diseases that are highly dangerous for health and life processes.

To spread awareness about the different ways of protecting ourselves from these deadly insects, Podar International School CBSE, organized an assembly on the theme ‘World Malaria Day'. Students deliberated about the various causes of malaria symptoms and the methods to prevent it through an informative presentation which was shown to make students abreast of the diseases spread by mosquitoes. An anecdote was shared by the students of Grade IV Einstein. A the drill was endorsed regarding mosquito awareness and precautionary measures enticed everyone spreading the message judiciously. Voicing valuable slogans, the students elevated their voices to warn about the deadly disease. Energetic and enthusiastic students tried to cultivate and awaken awareness to get rid of the dangerous consequences of falling victims to Malaria.

Ram Navami Celebration - 2024

Ram Navami falls on the Shukla Paksha Navami which is the ninth day of the Chaitra month and is also the culmination of Chaitra Navratri. Lord Ram was born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya. The festival also celebrates the descent of Vishnu as the Rama avatar. The day is significant as it marks the birth of Lord Rama, who is considered to be one of the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Lord Rama is believed to be an ideal human being and a symbol of truth, righteousness, and virtue. He is also known for his bravery, courage, and devotion towards his duty.

PIS CBSE chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Grade V students celebrated the festival with great joy and enthusiasm, depicting ram janmotsav with beautiful attire of the participants adding more glory to the event.

Gudi Padwa Celebration - 2024

Gudi Padwa is a spring-time festival.

The word Gudi Padwa is made of two words - Gudi refers to the flag (garlanded with flowers, mango and neem leaves, topped with upturned silver or copper vessel) and padwa or padava or padavo comes from the Sanskrit word pratipada which refers to the first day of a lunar fortnight.

The festival of Gudi Padwa is observed with colourful floor decorations called rangoli, a special Gudi flag, street processions, dancing and festive foods.

PIS CBSE CHH. Sambhajinagar celebrated the vibrant festival of Gudi Padwa with a special assembly filled with joy, tradition, and cultural richness.

Parivartan Drive 'Be The Change To Bring The Change' - 2024

The ‘Parivartan Drive’ is an initiative by the students of Podar Education Network, to generate a community awareness campaign on ‘Be the Change to Bring The Change’. The students of Podar International School, CBSE, Chh. Sambhajinagar worked to spread awareness about Self-love, Kindness, Acceptance and Seeking Support. The students’ attempt was to educate people that prioritizing ‘self’ is ‘not being selfish’. Taking care of oneself is as important as helping others to take care of themselves. The students made posters, placards, poems, quotes, slogans etc for this campaign.

Students' walkathon carried posters, placards, slogans and quotes to display important virtues about Self-love, Kindness, Acceptance and Seeking Support, was held on 6th March 2024 by Grade 6 and 7 students. This ‘Parivartan Drive’s’ movement was dedicated to empowering students to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others around them.

Field Trip for Grade 7 & 8 to Central Institute Of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology - 2024
The Podar International School, Chh Sambhajinagar, CBSE organised a field trip for grade 7 & 8 to Central Institute Of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET). This field trip was very informative and beneficial to the children as they showed different processes of plastic technology. The institute also offers different courses on the same. The students were fascinated by the information shared. This trip was very crucial as the students got a lot of information and knowledge about plastic and how plastic is in use to us from toothbrushes to automobiles. The students were very happy and enjoyed the trip.
CBSE Training on 'Happy Classroom' - 2024
PIS,CBSE CHH.Sambhaji Nagar organised a CBSE Workshop on Happy Classroom for teachers on 24th February 2024. The CBSE resource persons for the session were Principal of MGM Cloverdale, Mr.Ganesh Tarate and Principal of Universal High School,Ms.Seema Gupta. The teacher training session was filled with innovative teaching strategies, collaborative activities, and motivational insights to spark joy in the classroom. Teachers thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and felt more confident and resourceful to make their classes lively and interesting.
Good luck Party 2023-2024

Good Luck Party and Farewell to Grade 10 and 12.

On 5th February, 2024 a Good Luck Party and Farewell to Grade 10 and 12 was arranged in PIS CBSE, CS Nagar. Former Mathematics TGT teacher Mr. Paramveer Singh Saggu was invited as a chief guest for the program. The program was highlighted with motivational speeches of chief guest, Principal Ravinder Rana, English Faculty Mrs. Geeta Kottur and Hindi faculty Mrs. Anuradha Konapure.

Program ended with felicitation of the core council and the title ceremony of Grade 10 and 12 Students followed by lunch.

Taj Mahotsav - 2024

Special assembly was 'Taj Mahotsav'. It is conducted by Grade VI Faraday under the guidance of Mrs. Lekha Nair. Students have presented a tiny demo of Taj Mahotsav to showcase the cultural heritage of India.They conducted a Quiz followed by Speech on the importance of Taj Mahotsav. Then cultural activities such as Group Song with Musical Instruments under the guidance of Mr. Yogiraj Sir , display and speech on art work such as Madhubani painting, Sketch of Great Personalities etc.. Students concluded the assembly with a fabulous dance performance . Students learned the importance of Taj Mahotsav and various cultural activities of India from the Assembly.

75th Republic Day Celebration - 2024

Podar International school, Chh. Sambhajinagar celebrated 75th Republic Day with patriotic zeal and fervor.

The Management, Principal and teachers of PIS,CBSE, Chh. Sambhajinagar,extended their warm greetings on this auspicious day.The students of the School participated in a special assembly to mark the occasion.

Republic Day marks an important event in India’s history. It commemorates the enactment of the constitution of India which came into effect on January 26, 1950 and made the Nation into a Republic.

The celebration was held in school premises in the presence of Honourable Chief Guest Ms. Aruna.Waghchoure, seniormost English teacher in Podar International School CBSE C.S. Nagar, Sir Principal Ravinder Rana, Admin Sir Jignesh Jadhav and all staff members. Parents and ex- students were present to witness the event.

Chief Guest Ms. Aruna Waghchoure unfurled the tricolor and inspired everyone with her motivational words. She encouraged the staff and the students to abide by the constitution of our motherland where school Principal Sir Ravinder Rana inspired students to pursue the work culture of our honorable PM Mr. Narendra Modi to achieve greater heights of success in future . He also appreciated India's contribution towards bringing peace,harmony and growth in terms of the different sectors led by Indians.

A plethora of activities was organized by the teachers to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students.The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their dance performance, skit on women empowerment showcasing the glory of Indian origin Rani Laxmibai and Kalpana Chawala in the current era under the guidance of Ma’am Geeta Kottur, a musical band show and a soothing/melodious choir song was being supported and guided by Sir Yogiraj Pandey. The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Saksham Chandge of Grade -IX . The programme was conducted by Event coordinator Ma’am Gauri Dikshit in assistance with Ma’am Sonal Athalye.
13th Annual Sports Day Celebration 2023-2024

Chh. Sambhaji Nagar, 7th January 2024: The spirit of athleticism and teamwork took center stage as Podar International School (CBSE) organized its 13th Annual Sports Day on the 7th of January, 2024. This vibrant celebration not only showcased the students' athletic prowess but also emphasized the importance of team spirit and unity. Beyond the competitive edge, Sports Day fosters a sense of camaraderie, where participants forge bonds that extend beyond the track.

The day kicked off with the arrival of the esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Rohit Ronghe, a distinguished trainer, coach, and writer. The event was honored by the presence of notable figures, including the respected Vaishali Joshi, Principal of Podar International School, Sunderwadi, and Dr. Raghuveer Y.N., the Principal of Podar International School (ICSE), Garkheda. The distinguished guests were warmly welcomed by the School Principal, Ravindar Rana, and the school Administrator, Mr. Jignesh Jadhav. Mr. Rohit Ronghe addressed the students, inspiring them to actively participate in the events.

The day unfolded with an array of captivating performances by the talented students. Classes 1 and 2 stole the show with a mesmerizing Flower Drill and tableau centered around the theme, "Spardha." Grade 3 and 4 showcased a dynamic POM-POM Drill, followed by an impressive Human Pyramid by Grade 8 boys, Lezim by Grade 7 girls, and Laathi Kaathi by Grade 8 girls. The 4 x 100 meters races were the highlights of the day, drawing attention and applause from the audience.

Recognition was given to students who had excelled in national and state-level competitions, adding a layer of prestige to the event. Medals were awarded to the winners after each demonstration, highlighting their achievements.

The climax of the Sports Day was the declaration of house results. Ignis House secured the first-place position, followed by Terra House in second place, and Aqua House in third place. All the houses were presented with trophies, marking their outstanding contributions to the day's success.

Sambhajinagar recently hosted a spectacular two-day Annual Function on December 8th and 9th, showcasing the exceptional talents of its primary, secondary, and higher secondary students. The Primary Department themed their event 'Nritya Tarang,' while the Secondary and Higher Secondary Department focused on 'Celebrating the Legends of Life!'

The inaugural ceremony on the first day featured esteemed Chief Guest Ishwari Katwe, an accomplished actor, model, and TedX Speaker. The second day saw the presence of Advocate Asha Sherkhane Katke, Chairperson of the Child Welfare Committee, lecturer, and dedicated social worker. The event was graced by the presence of notable figures, including Mr. Atul Gharat, G.M., Principal of PIS CBSE Mr. Ravinder Rana, Dr. Raghuveer Y.V. , Principal, PIS ICSE, Mrs. Vaishali Joshi, Principal PIS CBSE, Sunderwadi, and Officiating Principal Ms. Rani Maria Xavier from PIS Jalna. A field trip to Siddharth Garden was arranged for grade 3 & 4 students to impart the idea of connecting with nature and to bring about awareness on the importance of trees in our lives. They were familiarized with different varieties of animals and trees. This trip was thoroughly enjoyed by children.

World Mental Health Day - 2023

World Mental Health Day celebrated with teachers in Podar International School.

Mental health is a crucial aspect of our well-being, and it is essential that we address this topic to create a supportive and understanding environment for all of us. In recognition of Mental Health day, Podar International School organised a workshop on October 10 for staff with an awareness for our mental well being and team building exercise among colleagues. The Theme for the year 2023 has been accepted as 'Mental health is a universal human right'. This workshop was conducted by school counsellor Ms. Pratiksha Gaikwad for the entire teaching fraternity and graced by Sir Principal Ravinder Rana who also participated enthusiastically.

The staff displayed a strong camaraderie and collaborated with one another sharing their own personal ideas on what would make them mentally strong. The counsellor conducted fun group activities for the staff in which they participated whole-heartedly. The agenda of working together as a team was joyfully followed in the session.

Marathwada Liberation Day - 2023
Podar International School, Chh.Sambhajinagar celebrated Marathwada Liberation Day, also known as "Marathwada Mukti Sangram Diwas", which is celebrated every year on 17th September in all over Maharashtra. It marks the anniversary of Marathwada's integration with India when the Indian military defeated the Nizam to merge Hyderabad into the Indian Union on 17 September 1948.Principal Mr.Ravinder Rana hoisted the National Flag to mark the anniversary of theMarathwada Mukti Sangram Din. The flag-hoisting was done in the presence of staff members and the school council members.Importance of this day was highlighted in Marathi andHindi language by Ms.Priya Davne and Ms.Shalini Dehere. A great honor to all our Marathwada Mukti Sangram Warriors and a great salute and deepest respect to all the Martyrs.

Teacher's Day Celebration - 2023

Teacher’s Day in India is celebrated every year on the 5th of September to honour the contributions of the teachers in our lives, society and country. 5th of September is the birth anniversary of the 2nd President of India, Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. He was highly devoted to education and well known as a scholar, diplomat, and most importantly a Teacher.

The school celebrated the day with great pomp and show. Students paid their love and reverence towards their gurus by conducting a special assembly. The Principal highlighted the need for educators to concentrate on enhancing their interpersonal skills and adjusting to the changing nature of teaching profession in an AI-driven world if they want to stay relevant. At the same time he reiterated for a stronger bonding of teachers with students in a world of education led by Artificial Intelligence.

Teachers were felicitated with Outstanding Teacher Awards by the Principal. Ms. Farhana Asim, Ms. Geeta Saini and Mr. Firoz Pathan were the recipients of these awards for the Academic session 2023-24. The day culminated with games and dance for both teachers and students in their respective classrooms.

Biz Kids Bazaar - 2023

The ‘BizKids Bazaar’ was a great opportunity to involve the parents and the community. The school’s ‘Young Entrepreneurs’ module culminated into the ‘BizKids Bazaar’, organized by the students and staff members of the school within the school premises. This bazaar not only provide opportunities for the students to discover and explore their talents, dreams and abilities, but will also focus on showcasing their entrepreneurial efforts to the visitors.

Participation in such an event helped to apply and reinforce the students’ procured knowledge on business and entrepreneurship gained over the month while they made an effort to showcase and sell all the products that they had personally created. Organizing the ‘BizKids Bazaar’ was a wonderful way to reach out to the students’ parents and the local community in a way that will benefit everyone. This event aimed at entertaining everybody while providing the students with an opportunity to use their business management skills. The students understood the basic principles of small businesses with their stalls around the school. Parents, grandparents, siblings, relatives and friends were invited to experience and share in this unique event.

A zone called the ‘The Mandala Art Zone’,‘The Gond Art Zone’,‘The Manjusha Art Zone' and the ‘The Indian Arts Zone’ were created, demarcating the classrooms. The ‘Recreational Food stalls’ were set up by students in the school lobby and other common areas of the school visited by parents in multitudes. Delectable items were on the menu card and students themselves prepared and sold the items to the parents and visitors.

The event was enjoyed by all.

Thematic unit 'In My Town' - 2023
Students of grade-2 cheerfully celebrated the culminating event of Thematic unit - In My Town on Saturday (02/09/2023). This was a 4 week module where students learned about different places ,different types of dwellings, and community helpers. For this event they dressed as community helpers .
Special Assembly 'Rakshabandhan' - 2023
The festival of Rakshabandhan is a day that celebrates brother-sister relationships. On this auspicious day, siblings express their love and affection towards one another. To highlight the festival and the bonding that a brother and a sister share with each other, students presented a poem ‘Rakhi Day is Righteous Day’ written by Mr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam. A graceful dance performance by the girls of the Grade 6C enthralled the students while a short quiz conducted by the students gave a value-addition to the event Maximum students from the class got a chance to participate in the class assembly.
Field Trip 'Grade 9 to 12' - 2023
Students from Classes IX and X went for a Field Trip at Ellora caves. Field trips are exciting educational opportunities for students and teachers alike. The trip was to enhance the educational experience for all students and provide the students with an opportunity to learn outside the classroom. Field Trip of Grade 9,10,11 & 12 @Ellora Caves.
Janmashtami Celebration - 2023
In PODAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CBSE Grade1 Students has celebrated Gokulashtami with Zeal and Zest. Children performed a dance which rocked the celebration and gave a speech on Lord krishna 8th incarnation of lord Vishnu.
77th Independence Day Celebration - 2023

77th Independence Day was celebrated at Podar International School, CBSE Aurangabad with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm on 15th August, 2023.The celebration started with a welcome song “Lehra Do Tiranga” which was set by Mayuri Panse Kulkarni. The principal of the school, Mr. Ravindra Rana unfurled the flag and everybody sang our National Anthem. Students performed a skit on “What is Patriotism” they delivered the message through this skit that patriotism lies in small and day to day actions. We must think before we act on how our actions will affect our nation. Every individual can contribute a lot to their nation by giving their best to become the greatest country in the world.

The principal during his speech mentioned that if we want to bring change in the world: there are two ways, first by working at the top and second by working at the roots or bottom. He also said that children are the future of this nation. These children can bring the change which they wish to see by working hard and striving hard to achieve their goals in their life. Today’s youth will be the leaders of tomorrow. As teachers, parents we need to embed the sense of responsibility and patriotism among our children.The principal concluded his speech by saying that we should not restrict our patriotism only to selected occasions such as Independence Day but we should show our patriotism through our actions everyday.

The programme ended with a fantastic and mesmerizing dance performance on a patriotic theme “Kandho Se Kandhe Milte Hai To Dushman Ke Dil Hilte Hai”. Aryan Deshmukh offered a vote of thanks to everyone and sweets were distributed among the children after the programme ended.

Special Assembly 'Nelson Mandela' - 2023
Grade 2 Ruby conducted a special assembly on the topic "Nelson Mandela" on Tuesday 18th July 2023. Students spoke about the life, work and principles of South Africa's first non white President with confidence and grit. The assembly had word for the day, quotes from the life of Nelson Mandela, school news, national and international news. Certificates were handed over to the students who brought laurels in the Inter School Competition held at PIS Waluj by Sir Principal who was all praises for the efforts of the young kids. The assembly ended with the school song followed by national anthem. "Do encourage the kids with your likes."
Girls and Boys Welfare Committee - 2023

In PIS, CBSE Girls welfare committee(GWC) & Boys welfare committee(BWC) organized two separate sessions on the topic ‘Development in girls and boys’ for Grades 9th & 10th on Tuesday 18th July 2023.These sessions were conducted by clinical psychologist and nutritionist Dr. Nidhi Mhaske from Chhtrapati Sambhaji nagar.

It was an interactive session for girls and boys with the following points. The session dwelt on the 4 aspects of life: physical, mental, social and spiritual. The resource person discussed the eating habits for adolescence and how Hygiene is essential for our body. There was a lot of discussion on Hormonal development in the body during puberty.

Overall sessions were informative and illuminating for students. They discussed various doubts with the resource person Dr. Nidhi Mhaske. She stressed on the need to make small and positive steps into our daily lives that can help build a healthy life routine.

Investiture Ceremony 2023-2024

The Investiture Ceremony 2023-24 successfully inducted the newly elected and selected members of the school’s prefectorial board on 11 July 2023. The ceremony started by lighting the lamp which signifies the removal of darkness and continuous upward movement of the flame denotes a path of wisdom and divinity.

Sashes were given and badges were pinned to the Newly formed Council – Head Boy Ajinkya Basaiye and Head Girl Ritvi Tribhuvan along with Sports Captain Boy and Sports Captain Girl by honourable Sir Principal. House Captain Boy and Girl and Vice Captain Boy and Girl were honoured by respective House Mentors by offering sashes and pinning of badges. Sir Principal administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed Board of Students’ Council, who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities. He motivated the students by quoting Shiv Khera’s quote, “ Leaders don't do different things, they do things differently.” He also reminded them that they are the torch bearers of all the values that the School stands for and urged them to take responsibility with commitment and integrity. He said that these students will be lawmakers, leaders, engineers, or doctors tomorrow. We have just given them the wings of leadership and they have got a chance to dream big and fly high in the sky. Future belongs to these young children who will one day, be the leaders of tomorrow.

The proud parents were also invited to witness the event. The programme was held under the guidance of Event coordinator Ms. Gauri Dikshit.

Culminating Event 'Tech-O-Mania' - 2023

The school-wide theme 'TECH-IT-UP' culminated with an event - 'TECH-O-MANIA', organized by the students of Grade II to VIII and staff members of PIS CBSE Aurangabad.

This event showcased the changes in technology in today's time. Ms.Pratiba Jadhav who works for the Adult Education Programme along with the Principal Ravinder Rana inaugurated the event.

This event focused on how technology has moved into our lives and homes. The students showed and explained how technology has evolved, how we live today and how it may change in the future. The event gave the students an opportunity to display their understanding and knowledge of the impact of technology in our lives. The students displayed their work that was done in the classroom and put up posters on the different topics covered in the Integrated English session.

The school soft board displayed the history of technology in the context of the evolution of everything that fell under daily used technology, like the evolution of the telephone, computers, online safety, and transport and so on, which was used to create the display.

The students collected pictures of famous people and wrote brief information and creatively displayed it on the corridor soft-boards.

International Yoga Day Celebration - 2023

This year's International Yoga Day endeavors to connect with a larger global community, as India's G20 presidency theme “One World, One Health Resonates with the principle of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”.

With this theme-“One World, One Health', Podar International CBSE,School Aurangabad celebrated the day.The School believes that education does not mean mere imparting knowledge or facts but it encompasses an all round development of an individual.The school has been taking all initiatives to accomplish this.

Hon’ble Sir Principal Ravindra Rana welcomed the Chief Guest Adv. Balasaheb Waghmare,who has been Cricket Match Referee for last 27 years, member of Krida Bharati Pratisthan who expressed his views on the importance of yoga practice in our life.The students stretched their arms, bent their legs, rolled their necks and twisted every sinew in their body with great dexterity, in a spectacular synchronicity with English and Hindi instructions by Ms.Yamini Asar. Staff and children were taught the importance of Yoga in their life & how to maintain a harmony between body and mind.

National Technology Day - 2023

National technology Day celebration in the special assembly, conducted by class X B.

It is the technology that has improved the status of the country on global platforms. The day marks the importance of scientists and engineers in helping India achieve technological advancement and keeping pace with the scientifically advanced countries.

To showcase the same class X B students have performed an informative skit, a Quiz based on technology and briefed the children about the gadgets and gizmos. A word and thought related to technology added to their knowledge. It was a nice endeavor by the students for having expressed their views on the role of technology being indispensable in our day to day life.

Felicitation Ceremony of Grade X & XII students - 2023

A Felicitation Ceremony was conducted on the 10th of June 2023 at 8:30 am in the school premises for the successful outgoing Class X and XII students who had brought accolades in the AISSCE and AISSE Examination 2022-2023. The Felicitation Committee of the school under the valuable guidance of Sir principal Ravinder Rana conducted the ceremony. Mr. Jayant Charthankar hosted the event.

The Chief Guest, General Manager, Podar Education Network Mr. Manoj Kale graced the occasion. The Chief Guest addressed the students exhorting them to carry their onward journey in life; these tools being individual uniqueness, faith in life, acknowledgment of the gift of creativity, making positive choices consciously and gratitude built on optimism and inspiration. He advised the students not to waste time or opportunity and instead work towards bringing honour and pride to society.

The Students of Grade 12 and 10 for AY 2022-23 were honored with mementos issued from the school. The center of attraction of the day were two parents Mr. Rode and Mr Sanap who addressed the gathering with the sweet memories of their children who spent quality time in this esteemed Institution. They both blessed all and prayed to the Almighty to shower His grace on this Institution so that it grows up to greater heights of success.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Event Coordinator Mrs. Gauri Dixit on behalf of PIS,CBSE, Sambhaji Nagar.

Maharashtra Diwas Celebration - 2023
The Grand day for Maharashtra was celebrated by Podar International CBSE School Aurangabad on 1st May 2023 ,glorifying the day when they got the essence of statehood. The Principal Mr.Ravinder Rana along with the Vice Principal Ms.Neelam Agrawal and the staff members initiated the ceremony with flag hoisting. The teachers restricted their speeches to Marathi and in English for adding some extra essence to the day followed by patriotic songs. The day depicted a successful celebration of Maharashtra Day.
Parents Parent Orientation Session ,SEL session and Loop Learning training for Grades 1 to 8 - 2023

Jumpstart Activity 'Tech It Up' - 2023

Technology has made it possible for people from all walks of life to have access to different resources. It equips people to improve their quality of life and help them avail opportunities that would be inaccessible.

Thematic unit - "Our solar system" - 2023
Thematic unit - "Our solar system" was a two week module where students learned about the sun, moon and planets of our solar system. They learned the importance of the sun to living beings, phases of the moon, planets through various activities and role play and depicted their imagination and creativity.
THEMATIC UNIT: OUR SOLAR SYSTEM- Culminated in the event ‘Little Astronauts’ - 2023
"Students dressed up as astronauts and talked about space, activities of the module and did role play of planets. The classes were decorated in sync with the theme. The oratorical skills and confidence of students were appreciated by the parents. As this was the last of the culminating events, the students will now get ready for their final practice sheets and move to next grades".
3D Designing and Printing Competition - 2023

3D printing or additive manufacturing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The 3D printing and designing Inter-School competition was organized at Podar International School CBSE, Aurangabad.

Theme base Competition was organized for
Grades 5 to 8. Grade 5 Theme: Toy arena,
Grade 6 Theme: 3D automotive modelling,
Grade 7 Theme: 3D Architectural models &
Grade 8 Theme: 3D Modern Farm.

Annual Day Celebration 2022-2023

Two years post pandemic, Podar International School (CBSE)Aurangabad celebrated its Annual Day for Primary and Senior School students on 10 th and 11 th February respectively. The events were graced by Dr.Pushpa Gaikwad HOD History Department from BAMU and Shri Manoj Kaley, General Manager,Nanded and Aurangabad HUB schools of Podar Education Network. School Principal, Mr. Ravinder Rana welcomed Principals of other Podar Schools. The School Annual Report was presented by the School Student Council.

The theme for the first day was “A Time To Celebrate” showcasing the cultural diversity of the country.Students performed on Dances of states like Kashmir, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra etc. The highlights of the day were a Covid Act presented by students of Grade 5D and a small act on Shivaji Maharaj.The theme of the Senior School was “The Five Elements” depicting the importance of Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Space. The school orchestra presented a 20 minute rendition that mesmerised the audience. The importance of water and the circumstances caused by its shortage in the year 2050 was presented through a beautiful skit. The contributions of sportspeople like Mary Com, Mirabai Chanu and Neeraj Chopra were demonstrated through popular Bollywood songs. The Space element was presented by students of Grades 9 and 10 as the finale element that was the showstopper of the evening. Student toppers of Grades 1- 12 were presented with certificates and Trophies, Best Teacher awards were presented to Mrs. Mercia Kharat, Mr. Yogiraj Pandey, Mrs. Geeta Saini and Mr. Sunil Mansure. Mrs. Anjali Sharma was also felicitated for receiving Prestigious Dr. C.V. Raman National award for the Subject Physics.

74th Republic Day Celebration - 2023

Podar International School, Aurangabad Celebrated 74th Republic Day with patriotic zeal and fervour. The Management, Principal and Teachers of PIS, CBSE, Aurangabad, extended their warm greetings on this auspicious day. Republic Day marks an important event in India’s history. It commemorates the enactment of the constitution of India which came into effect on January 26, 1950 and made the Nation into a Republic. Chief guest Shri Manoj Kaley unfurled the tricolour and inspired everyone with his motivational words. He encouraged the staff and the students to abide by the constitution of our motherland, he also appreciated India's contribution towards bringing peace, harmony and growth in different sectors. A plethora of activities was organized by students to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among those present. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love of the motherland through their dance performance, skit on unsung heroes in the current era, a musical band show and a soothing/melodious choir song. Sir Principal Ravinder Rana remembered the freedom fighters and cautioned the students against mediocrity while highlighting that the current technology boom has brought in survival of the fittest. He also inspired the students to excel in every field thus contributing to the growth of the nation.The event concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by the Head girl of the school.

12th Annual Sports Meet 'Spardha' 2022-2023

Thus, on the 12 th of January, 2023, Podar International School, CBSE, Aurangabad organized their 12 th Annual Sport Meet for the year 2022-23. After a hiatus of two years due to the lingering fear of the COVID-19 pandemic, the school organized one of its most signature events. The Annual Sports Meet embodies the zeal, talents and spirit of sportsmanship of the students of Podar School. The theme for the Sports Day was “Put shackles on your greed, killing animals is not the need”.The most anticipated event of the year commenced with the arrival of the highly distinguished Chief guest, Mr. Abhijeet Dikkhat, Dept. of P.E,B.A.M.U. The audience were in for a visual treat as the junior most students of the campus danced to rhythmic beats. Different sports activities were organized for the students of different Grades. The Lezim dance performance by grade VIII girls was yet another scintillating display of talent which showcased the culture of our state. Subsequently, the other races took place, succeeded by the Prize Distribution for the same. The parents too cheered their children throughout the event. Mrs. Vaishali Dushing and Mr. Sunil Mansure anchored the event. The Tug O’ War is an event which demands brute strength, sheer endurance and excellent team coordination, was definitely the most anticipated event of the day. The event held between the Grade IX and X enraptured the audience as the level of excitement drastically went up. Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Abhijeet Dikkhat addressed the students, laying emphasis on the need to imbibe qualities of discipline, sportsmanship spirit and to never be disappointed by failure in life, while thanking all the teachers who had ever taught him. A token of gratitude was presented to the respected Chief Guest by our school Principal Sir Ravinder Rana. Up next, the Chief Guest was invited to give away the prizes and felicitate the rightful winners with medals and certificates of excellence.The events of the day came to an end with Sir Principal declaring the Best Sports Houses in different categories. The trophy for Best House Decoration was won by Ignis House, March Past Trophy was won by Ventus House and the Best House Trophy for A.Y. 2022-23 was bagged by Aqua House. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Vice Principal Mrs Neelam Agrawal. She thanked everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the students for their exceptional performances.
