The Felicitation Ceremony for the Class 10 board examination toppers was held with great enthusiasm and pride at Podar International School Igatpuri. On 26th April 2025, Podar International School, Igatpuri proudly hosted a vibrant and engaging marketing event titled "Evening at Podar".

During the "Evening at Podar" event, the Principal, Mr. Sandesh Khatal Sir, warmly welcomed all parents and took the opportunity to highlight the school’s facilities, academic approach, and commitment to holistic development.

Principal Sir provided a detailed overview of the school's infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, a rich library, digital learning tools, sports facilities, and activity rooms.

SPECIAL ASSEMBLY – Skit Script Idea: "Meet India's Advertising Gurus"

Under the guidance of Principal Mr. Sandesh Khatal Sir, Podar International School - Igatpuri students performed a skit showcasing some of the most iconic advertisements we’ve grown up hearing. Today, we celebrate the contributions of India’s legendary advertising professionals who have shaped the way we view brands and messages.

The skit focuses on their innovative campaigns and their lasting impact on the world of advertising.

1. Alyque Padamsee – Remember the famous jingle?
   "BULAND BHAARAT KI BULAND TASWEERRRRRRR – HAMARA BAJAJ ... HAMARA BAJAJ."
2. Piyush Pandey – The mind behind Cadbury's iconic line:
   “Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye”
3. Prasoon Joshi – Creator of Coca-Cola’s unforgettable catchphrase:
   "Thanda Matlab Coca-Cola."
4. R. Balki – Responsible for Surf Excel’s emotional and relatable campaign:

Under the esteemed guidance of our respected Principal, Mr. Sandesh Khatal Sir, a Panchayat Samiti Raj Assembly was successfully conducted at Podar International School Igatpuri on 24th April 2025.

The aim of the event was to spread awareness among students about the structure, functions, and importance of the Panchayati Raj system in India, with a special focus on the Panchayat Samiti, the intermediate level of rural governance.

Throughout the event, Principal Sir provided valuable insights and encouragement, emphasizing the importance of youth participation in democratic processes. His presence and active involvement greatly motivated the students and made the learning experience even more enriching.

To mark the global celebration of Earth Day, Podar International School - Igatpuri organized a special assembly on April 22nd, 2025, aimed at raising awareness about environmental issues and encouraging students to become responsible stewards of the Earth.

A Poster Making Competition was successfully organized at Podar International School Igatpuri, under the valuable guidance and encouragement of our respected Principal, Mr. Sandesh Khatal Sir. Pamphlet Distribution: Door-to-door and at busy junctions.

Canopy Setups: Temporary stalls at parks, markets, and residential societies for direct interaction.

The English Calligraphy Competition was successfully conducted at Podar International School Igatpuri, organized by the English Department with the aim of promoting the art of beautiful handwriting among students.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Grade 1st to Grade 10th, each showcasing their creativity, focus, and flair for calligraphy.

During the Calligraphy Competition at Podar International School - Igatpuri, respected Principal Sandesh Khatal Sir observed students' writing skills, and the best three entries from each class were selected.

The Hindi Calligraphy Competition was successfully conducted at Podar International School - Igatpuri, organized by the Hindi Department with the aim of promoting the art of beautiful handwriting among students.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of Grade 1st to Grade 10th, each showcasing their creativity, focus, and flair for calligraphy.

Jumpstart to Curiosity!

Podar International School - Igatpuri students from Grade I to VIII were immersed in an exciting Jumpstart Event for our new theme – Media Unmasked: Truth, Tricks and Trends!

Through surprise activities and thought-provoking experiences, our young learners began exploring how media influences us, how design plays a role in messaging, and how to spot the truth behind the headlines.

Let the journey of questioning, discovering, and decoding the media world begin!
