International Yoga Day Celebration - 2026
Podar International School, Muzaffarpur, successfully celebrated International Yoga Day on Saturday, 20 June 2026, with great enthusiasm and active participation from students, teachers, and staff members.

Awareness Session on Cleanliness for Housekeeping and Security Staff - 2026
As part of its commitment to fostering a healthy, hygienic, and responsible school environment, Podar International School, Muzaffarpur organized a special awareness session on Cleanliness and Hygiene for its housekeeping and security staff on 24th May.
The session highlighted the importance of maintaining cleanliness in and around the school premises and emphasized the vital role played by housekeeping and security personnel in creating a safe and pleasant environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Participants were educated about personal hygiene, workplace cleanliness, waste management, and best practices for maintaining sanitation standards.
The programme also focused on the numerous benefits of cleanliness, including the prevention of diseases, improvement of overall well-being, enhancement of workplace efficiency, and the creation of a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
Interactive discussions and practical demonstrations helped the participants understand how small daily actions can contribute significantly to a cleaner and healthier environment.

Health and Safety Awareness Camp - 2026
A special health check-up and awareness program was organized at Podar International School, Muzaffarpur for the non-teaching staff members. The initiative included Ear, Nose, Tongue, and Eye check-ups for the administrative staff, cleaning staff, bus staff, and other supporting employees. The primary objective of this initiative was to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all staff members who are directly or indirectly associated with students. As the school environment is completely child-oriented, maintaining the health and awareness of the supporting staff plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of children.
Additionally, special safety awareness sessions were conducted for the drivers and bus staff members. During the session, they were guided on important safety measures to be followed while transporting students, maintaining discipline and care during travel, and handling emergency situations responsibly. Multilingual Week Celebration - 2026
Podar International School, Muzaffarpur recently celebrated Multilingual week from 5th May, 2026 to 8th May, 2026, a week dedicated to India’s linguistic and cultural diversity. The school was divided into four zones- East , West, North and South representing a specific region through- Skit, Dance, Song and Speech.
During this event, students from all four houses actively participated, wholeheartedly embracing and enjoying the diverse colors and cultural traditions from every corner of India.
The purpose of Multilingual Week was to celebrate the beauty of India’s diversity. By exploring different languages and traditions, the school aimed to create a sense of oneness among students, teaching them that every culture is a vital part of our national identity.
The primary objective of Multilingual Week was to foster a deep sense of national unity by encouraging students to explore and appreciate the diverse cultural landscapes of India. By engaging in regional performances and artistic displays, students gained meaningful exposure to different languages and traditions, which helped break down regional barriers and build a spirit of mutual respect. The event also aimed to boost students’ confidence, encourage active participation, and instil pride in the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” that defines our nation.
The Principal, Sanjay Nandi, who recently joined the school on 23rd April applauded the students and faculty for their outstanding performance, reaffirming a commitment to providing excellence in education aligned with the school’s high standards. The event was attended by many parents, who expressed great enthusiasm for the students' work ethic. This program aims to foster team spirit and collaborative skills while instilling a sense of mutual respect. Furthermore, it encourages students to embrace competition with a positive mindset. By engaging in music, dance, and drama, students will bolster their self-confidence; such participation in the arts ensures their holistic development—mentally, socially, and creatively.
Shri Krishna Janmashtami - 2025
Janmashtami is a Hindu festival celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna. It is observed as a symbol of the end of darkness and the rooting out of evil forces.
A splendid and colourful performance by the students depicted the birth of Lord Krishna with a strong message of the victory of good over evil. The students beautifully communicated the thought that ‘every moment of life is worth a celebration.’
Children came dressed in ethnic wear as Radha and Krishna, adding grace and devotion to the celebration. It was a beautiful presentation filled with joyous melodies and twirling dancers.
79th Independence Day Celebration - 2025
On the auspicious occasion of the 78th Independence Day, our school celebrated the event with great patriotism and enthusiasm. The entire school campus was decorated with tricolour flags, balloons, and beautiful rangolis that reflected the spirit of freedom and unity.
After the hoisting, a series of cultural performances were presented by the students. The program began with a powerful speech on the importance of Independence Day by a student from Class 5. This was followed by:

- Patriotic Songs
- Poetry Recitation
Each performance was met with loud applause and appreciation.
Rakshabandhan Celebration - 2025
