Experiences Video 'Theme - The Pursuit of Happiness' - 2020

‘THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS’ –The school organized ‘Experiences Video’ for the students which connected the theme to the outside world. Through these experiences, the students received a widened, practical view on how what they are learning connects with real life situations.

Parivartan Drive 'Celebrating Life - Grade 1 to 4' - 2020

PODAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, (ICSE) Nashik arranged the ‘PARIVARTAN DRIVE’ under the guidance of Principal sir. Grade 1st to 4th students participated in various activities to make people aware of important topics like mindfulness, stress management, emotional and physical wellbeing and so on. The students acted as agents of change. They interacted with the people in and around the school locality, narrated stories and recited poems. These activities gave an insight on how to manage stress, lead a happy and blissful life.

Parivartan Drive 'Celebrating Life' - 2020

The ‘PARIVARTAN DRIVE’ is an initiative by the students of Podar International school. The focus of the drive was on creating awareness about leading a stress free life inspired by mindfulness and gratitude. The students from Grade 6th participated in a rally. The students said slogans, sang a song and played some instrument on happiness and how to have healthy mind around the school locality.

Express yourself 'Theme - The Pursuit of Happiness' - 2020

Under the theme, ‘The Pursuit Of Happiness – Unwrapping Life Philosophies from Around the World’ and as a part of ‘Express Yourself’, the students of Grades 1& 4 participated in a Develop and Showcase – ‘The Sound of Emotions’ activity. for Grades 5 &6 is ‘Paint and Origami’ through this activity, students learnt how to be aware of their own emotions and learn to accept their feelings rather than indulging in an attitude of accepting defeat easily. Grades 7&8 is “Patch up a Quilt” through this activity, students learnt that it is important to come face to face with rejections in order to reach our full potential, and accept that they are a part and parcel of our lives rather than viewing them as an obstacle.

House Competition 'Theme - Pursuit of Happiness' - 2020

Under the theme ‘The Pursuit of Happiness – Unwrapping Life Philosophies from Around the World’ and as part of the House Competition, the students of Grades 1 to 4 participated in a ‘Mime Act’. The topic – ‘Highs and Lows’ is designed for the students to express different feeling for different actions through the mime. Debate Competition: The students of Grades 5 – 6 participated in a Debate activity. Topic – ‘Is Happiness Defined by Success?’ and Grades 7 & 8 participated in ‘White Lies – Harmful or Harmless’.

Special Assembly 'National Youth Day Celebration' - 2020

A special assembly was conducted by the students of grade V Aravali & II Mango to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. He was a social reformer, philosopher and thinker. The main objective behind the celebration was to propagate the philosophy and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda for which he lived and worked. No doubt, he continues to be a great inspiration for all the youth of our nation; hence his birth anniversary is celebrated as National Youth Day.

Jumpstart Activity 'Theme - Pursuit of Happiness' - 2020

THEME: The Pursuit of Happiness - Unwrap Life Philosophies from Around the World JUMP START EVENT: Students from Grade I to VIII conducted the Jump Start event. It helped them to cultivate the propensity to ask questions related to life, self, personal well-being as well as inquire about the nature of existence.

Farewell 2019 -2020

“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.”

On 5th Feb.2020, the students of 9th Std. had arranged a farewell to their seniors i.e. Grade X and XII.

The programme began with welcoming of the Principal, GM Mr. Sameer Wagle Sir and Vice Principal and lightning of the lamp ceremony.

The formal function followed a cluster of cultural events like singing, dancing and a hilarious stand-up comedy. Principal Sir articulated his thoughts to guide the students with an emphasis on seriousness of the students in their studies.

The programme was over with the vote of thanks - an expression of gratitude. And of course the snacks added to the memories of all the students and everyone present.
