School Events at Ahmedabad

Today on 26th January, 2021 Indian Republic is 72 years young. We Indians renewed our pledge to honor the sacrifice of thousands of freedom fighters who made the dream of free India become a reality. Like every year the students & staff of PIS, Ahmedabad have celebrated this glorious event of Indian History. Keeping in mind the necessity of social distancing few staff members were there on the school premises to attend the auspicious occasion. To make the students, parents & the staff view the program who couldn't attend it in person Fb Live was enabled. The program started with the hoisting of the tricolor by the Principal of the school, Mr. Sreenarayanan. The members of the staff present saluted our national flag.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Sreenarayanan congratulated the students & the members of the staff on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day. He emphasized on the importance of being self reliant & buying the goods that are made in India. Perhaps it will not be long when India will be the greatest exporter of indigenous products. He insisted on investing in educational innovations & ushering a new dawn to carry forward the glorious past of our motherland.

On this joyous occasion several staff members who have successfully completed the dedicated service of 5 & 10 years respectively were honored. The Principal handed over the citation to them to acknowledge their commitment towards their responsibility.

The program concluded but left an indelible mark on our hearts.. The journey of 72 years of the Republic , of the feeling of 'me' to' we' & to uphold the pride of being the most vibrant, versatile democracy in the world is unmatched. PIS, Ahmedabad has kept the undaunted spirit & enthusiasm to remember that the difficult time will pass & Indians will always be at the forefront of a new world. Jai Hind!
