I feel honoured and privileged to be the founding Principal of Podar International School, Daund, Pune. On behalf of the entire team at PIS Daund, I welcome you to the forgoing school. The school is located in a historical town Daund in Pune district which is surrounded by natural beauty on the bank of Bhima river.
The school building is an epitome of an ideal architecture having world-class facilities aiming to provide the right environment to our students. We believe that each child develops differently. At PIS, Daund, we understand this perfectly and provide our young learners with the most suitable learning environment where they can learn with absolute freedom.
Our curriculum is developed with a special focus on a learner-centric approach ensuring all-round development of our students through the best use of modern resources and teaching methodologies. Podar Innovation Center, located at Head Office Mumbai, is committed to the same. The speciality of PIC is a systematic and centralized examination system which ensures the quality of assessment.
We believe that faculty members form the backbone of the school. Our teachers are our asset who nurture the generations. The teachers at PIS, Daund are well- qualified, experienced, competent and dedicated. A model of learning : Explore – Experience – Implement is the centre of their teaching methodology. Modern technology equipments like projectors, visualizers are used in the teaching- learning process. We know that today’s an age of competitive examinations. To make children aware of competitive exams, we conduct age-appropriate Olympiad exams and Talent Search examinations.
Today’s young children would be responsible citizens of the country tomorrow as they are supposed to lead the nation. At PIS, Daund, we inculcate life skills, spiritual and moral values among the students to make them good human beings.
Safety of all the stakeholders is among the top priorities of the school. Therefore the school ensures the safety of all its stakeholders. Trained and competent security personnel, CCTV surveillance are some of the important features of the school. Zero tolerance policy on corporal punishment is observed at the school.
All children are the gift of God and they are unique. Hence at our school every kid’s individuality is prioritized and the kids are groomed properly, guided , cared for and their weaknesses are overcome. The admission process at PIS, Daund is very systemic and transparent with no entrance test, no donation, no deposit demanded.
