After school club activity 'Listen and draw' - 2021
Children listened audio clip carefully and tried to draw whose voice they heard. From this activity their listening power improved. This activity was completed by grade I to VIII.
Christmas Celebration - 2021

Christmas, the festival that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ was celebrated with gaiety and fervor at Podar International School, Gangapur. In the presence of the beloved Santa Claus, the week-long celebration saw an array of activities performed by both students and teachers.

The tiny tots of class 1 and 2 dressed up as Christmas tree and danced to the song 'I am the happiest Christmas tree'. Class 3,4& 5 graders danced to the tune of 'Jingle Bells'. Students of class 6,7 & 8 chose the song 'We wish you a Merry Christmas' to display their dancing skills.

Under the guidance of music teacher Mr. Sudhir Sonawane, melodious carols were sung by the students. Learners were delighted to see a splendid dance performance by their teachers. On this festive occasion, they decided to express their joy through a Bollywood song- which urged everyone to live their lives to the fullest.

Impressed by all the wonderful performances, Principal Moumita Choudhury appreciated the efforts of the students. She wished merry Christmas and greeted everyone a happy, healthy and a very prosperous new year.

The tumultuous year 2021 culminated with the joyous celebration and good wishes. The celebration certainly uplifted the spirits of the students and infused a sense of renewed hope and optimism in them.

Welcome back to school 2021-2022
School reopens on 6th December 2021from class 1st onwards. Primary school which closed on 15th March 2020 reopened on 6th December 2021, students were very excited to come back to school, meet their teachers & friends physically after a long time. Parents were also very excited & happy to come back to the campus after such a long break. All staff & students prayed for a healthy & safe session for an end of the dark days of pandemic.
Football & Basketball Inter-School Competition - 2021
Competitions help the students to develop their creativity and skill sets. It boosts their self esteem, motivates them to become better and makes them mentally strong. After a very long time, the students of Podar International School, Gangapur participated in the inter-school competition of Football & Basketball at Bhosla Military School and enjoyed the competition. Children's Day Celebration - 2021

Navratri And Dussehra Celebration - 2021

Welcome back to school 2021-2022

Physical school begins after lockdown and virtual schooling on 4th October 2021 and 5th standard onwards students arrived school after almost one year and seven months.

Students were welcome in special assembly, dedicated to the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri (Second Prime Minister of India), Principal Moumita Choudhury addressed the assembly and welcomed all the 20 students who were physically present and also invited the other students to be physically present to school, who were attending the assembly virtually.

Class teachers welcomed the students with welcome cards, smilie cards students were very happy to be back to the campus and be in their new classrooms. Many new admission students were first time physically present in the school campus; they were delighted to meet their new friends in the beautiful school campus.

Activities done by Grade1 & 2 - 2021
Students of Grade 1& 2 enjoyed learning "Double Trouble" & "Farm Making" by making popsicle sticks and Farm models.
EVS Activity 'Grade II' - 2021
Hands on approach is one of the vital keys towards learning, and we at podar make students learn effectively. Podar International School, Gangapur Grade 2 students were engaged with the activities for the learning process. Students performed the activities with great enthusiasm on the topic "AIR" and learned that Air has Weight and Air is used for burning.
Fire safety Training - 2021
Fire safety training helps for protection. It ensures everyone knows how to act safely, reducing the risk of injury or loss of life in the event of a blaze. Basic fire-fighting techniques can also help to prevent small fires from becoming big emergencies. Parivartan Drive - 2020
Podar International School, Gangapur successfully organized Parivartan Drive under the theme of Pursuit of Happiness. The students gathered at Gangapur Road. The event began with a walkathon with playcards in hands. Then after reaching , the students asked the passersby to write their wishes on a wishing tree. Then the students engaged people in storytelling . Later the children gave away their handmade gifts like greetings, mason jars and poems to the spectators making them smile. Later on the children invited all the people around to indulge in laughter yoga explaining how laughter is the best medicine.

Republic Day Celebration - 2020
On the auspicious morning of 26th January 2020, Podar International School, Gangapur celebrated 71st Republic Day in the school premises . It was a great matter of pride for all of us. The event began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest Mr. P. S. Pardesi retired HFO of Indian Air Force, GM Mr. Sameer Wagle motivated the students and staff with his inspiring speech. A short cultural program was presented by all students. Principal Ms. Moumita Choudhury thanks all the participants and staff for the wonderful team work.
1st Annual Day Celebration 2019-2020
On 1st February 2020, Podar International School Gangapur celebrated 1st Annual Day Function with great enthusiasm and zeal. The entire school participated wholeheartedly towards the success of this grand event. The event started with a beautiful group song by the teachers. The Theme for our 1st Annual Day was "Khel Khele Jumbo Ke Sang" for Podar Jumbo Kids and " Jungle Book" for PIS which was presented meticulously by students from grade Nursery to VI. School Annual Report was presented by the Honorable Principal - Ms.Moumita Choudhury. The Chief Guest - Mr.Sameer Wagle was visibly impressed by the impeccable performance showcased by the students across different grades. Finally, the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Principal.
Jumpstart activity of Thematic unit 'Grade 1 and 2 - A Field Trip to Plant Nursery' - 2020
As a part of the Jumpstart Activity for this unit, the students were taken on a field trip to a Plant Nursery where they saw different types of plants and as well as the information of plants and it's different parts like leaves, stem , root etc. was given by teachers and their knowledge was linked directly to the unit by observing different types of plants in nursery.

  3. After submitting the online application form, if there are seats available in the standard that you have applied in, an email with a payment link for the first term fees will be sent to you. Parents are requested to make the necessary payment online.
Offline Admission Process:
  1. Complete the application form either online or collect the form from the school.
  2. Please submit the completed application form along with following documents at the School Office:
    • Photocopy of Student’s Birth Certificate.
    • Photocopy of Student’s Aadhaar Card.
    • School Leaving Certificate (can be submitted later if currently not available) (Std 2 onwards).
    • UDISE Number (Unified District Information System for Education) from current school (Std 2 onwards).
    • Photocopy of Student's previous/current class Report Card (Std 2 onwards).
    • Photocopy of Address proof (any one) : a) Ration Card. b) Electricity Bill c) Passport d) Aadhar Card.
    • Photocopy of Aadhar card of any one parent/guardian.
    • Photocopy of Pan Card of any one parent/guardian.
    • 3 Passport size photographs of the student.
    • Caste Certificate (if applicable).
  3. Please submit a Cheque with the first term fees to the School Office. All payments at the School are to be made by Cheque. Please mention the name of your ward, and contact number on the rear side of the Cheque. Fees once paid will be strictly non-refundable.
