Diwali Festival Competitions - 2022

On the Occasion of Diwali festival Podar International School #Gwalior conducted different competition for the students of all grades like Diya Decoration for Grades I & II, Thali Decoration for Grades III & IV, Toran Making Competition for Grades V & VI, Lantern Making Competition for Grades VII & VIII and Rangoli Making Competition House wise for Grades IX & X. Where all the students participated enthusiastically in the competitions.

Jumpstart Activity 'IE-THEME: Kaleidoscope' - 2022

The information about the world's lost civilizations was presented in a very captivating manner under the theme The Sci-Hi-Museum at Podar International School. Under which the Palaeolithic civilization of India, the civilizations of Rome, Greece, China, Maya, Egypt were included. The program was inaugurated by the Principal Manish R.K. Jain by cutting the ribbon. In the program, children exhibited their performances and beautiful performances on the world's civilization and culture and various interesting games. The parents of the children participated enthusiastically in this program and took the information with pleasure and at the same time encouraged the children, all the staff of the school were present on this occasion.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration - 2022

Mahatma Gandhi or more lovingly known as Bapu by all Indians is internationally acknowledged for his doctrine of non-violence that led India to its glorious freedom.

Podar International School #Gwalior celebrates Gandhi Jayanti on 2nd October every year in remembrance of our beloved Father of Nation. We recalled his struggles and paid our heartfelt tribute to Gandhi ji for all his sacrifices made for the country.

To revere this day, the students and teachers of Podar International School organised a special celebration to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings. Our students and Our teachers also encouraged the students to contribute their part of life for good social cause and by being a responsible citizen of the country.

The event was started with lightening the lamp.The Student led choir sung song with full exuberance. A special speech with Gandhian quotes and messages brought the listeners and spectators to understand more about this iconic leader. Gandhian ideologies were depicted through a skit which the students presented by grade VIII students.

Hindi Diwas Celebration - 2022

Hindi Diwas as Hindi Saptah. Podar International School celebrated ‘Hindi Diwas' with different activities like speech recitation, essay writing, Hindi poem recitation, shrutlekh, recitation of Kabir Das ke Dohe, Rahim ke Dohe, Tulsi Das ke Dohe, Songs singing, Board Decoration depicting the importance of Hindi language, drama play, slogan writing, etc by the students of various classes. In the modern times when we see that English is becoming the most popular language in our country, celebrating Hindi Diwas becomes more important to spread the awareness of the simplicity and the richness of this language. There is an enormous need to celebrate Hindi Diwas as an event every year in order to pay honor and pass its significance to the next generation.

Army Exhibition - 2022

To honor the teachers and encourage the students at Podar International School, Gwalior, the Academy, Tekanpur organized a special event. Hold on Shri Niwas Dhar said that a teacher is the only person who prepares the coming generation for the development and progress of the country by giving them proper education. The Inspector General is a 1986 batch officer who started proving his mettle from his infancy, all the children in the school were shown a documentary film on BSF. They were also informed about the work done by the BSF. Seeing the enthusiasm of the children, they were also told that they can also protect the country if they want. Answered the questions with great love. Hon'ble Principal Mr. Manish RK Jain was honored with a memento and presented special gifts to the teachers and children. At the end of the program, school principal Manish R. Of. Jain, while expressing his thanks, also presented a memento to the Inspector General praising his contribution and said that if we are sleeping peacefully in our homes, then it is possible only because of the soldiers of the country.

Teacher's Day Celebration - 2022

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge."

Podar International School, Gwalior celebrated TEACHER'S DAY with enthusiasm and gaiety on 5 September 2022.The program was led off with lamp lighting by the revered Principal Sir Mr. Manish R K. Jain and Head mistress Ms. Himani. After invocation, students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural show incorporated poems, songs, dance and drama. All the teachers were given titles by the students which indicated that teachers play a vital role in making their pupils accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. The teachers were also given gifts by the management as a token of love and appreciation for them.

Bal Sabha - 2022

Podar International School #Gwalior conducted Bal Sabha for the students from Grade I to V to show their Talent on the stage where the students of different grades presented dance and poem and Principal Sir showed some Science Activities. A skit also conducted by the students of Grade VI and VIII where they introduced Mr. Arsh Ali and gave a lot of information about him. At 17, Arsh Ali is the youngest archaeologist in India today. He has worked at numerous excavation sites belonging to the Harappan and Egyptian periods and is presently working on ten projects with five already being done. Arsh knows 15 languages, including Hebrew, Arabic, Brahmi, Greek, Ugaritic, Nabatean and Phoenician, besides Kharosthi and Hieroglyphics. He credits his precocious knowledge to curiosity and reading.

Sahodaya Senior and Junior Football Tournament - 2022

Podar International School hosted a two day Sahodaya Senior and Junior Football Tournament. Various schools of Gwalior actively participated in it.

On the first day, Inspector Mr. Sujos Bhattacharya Principal ITM School, Chief Guest Mr. Yogesh Gupta IDBI Bank and Senior Guest Mr. Shailendra Banjari, Mr. Ankur Sharma Officer, Bank.

Army Public School, Gwalior Glory, St. Paul Murar and Podar International School participated in the Senior Group where Army Public School won the cup in the senior group and St Paul's School was the runner up team. next day Army Public School, Gwalior Glory, St. Paul Murar and Podar International School participated in the Junior Group, where the Chief Guest was Mr. Gajendra Ingle and Ashish Chauhan were senior social workers. Junior Army School also won in the group and ITM team was runner up in the program by the end Principal Mr. Manish R K. Jain encouraged the losing team and wished the winning team all the best.
