Book Donation to school library - 2022

''Books help children make sense of the world around them, impart morals and values to them, and teach them empathy" With this motive and objective behind, our student Mast. Paras Ishwar Patil of Grade III from Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has donated 90 Books to our school Library. Donated books include Competitive exam books, Current affairs, General Knowledge and grade wise content oriented books etc so that students should enhance reading in a effective way. World Earth Day - 2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has celebrated World Earth Day on 22nd April 2022 for the students across all the Grades i.e I to X. Earth Day is celebrated on April 22 annually to raise awareness about the deterioration of our environment, issues that plague our planet, and the urgent need for sustainability. With this noble cause behind, our students participated in the Plantation Drive for school medicinal garden. Students were given knowledge about various species of plants with their medicinal values. They enthusiastically participated in the plantation drive and took oath for saving Mother Earth. Students have started maintaining and nurturing the plantation of rare plant species in the school. Heartfelt Gratitude to our Respected Principal, Mr. Ishwar Patil Sir for providing them exposure and guiding students and making theme aware about the importance of plants in School Herbal Medicinal Garden.

English Language Day - 2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has celebrated English Language Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on 23rd April 2022. English Language Day is observed annually on April 23. The aim is to celebrate multilingualism and cultural diversity by exploring the language. English Language Day marks the birthday and date of the death of famed writer William Shakespeare. This day makes up one of six UN language days. With this objective behind various activities were conducted for the students like storytelling, poem composition, proverb activity, etc. Students understood the importance of the English Language. Parent Orientation for Grade IX and X - 2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has conducted Parent Orientation Program for students on 23rd April 2022 of Grade IX and X for the academic year 2022-23. Parent Orientation Programme at the beginning of the academic year for all the grades serves as an excellent prelude to bond school, parents, and students for the common goal- the progress of the child. Parents and students get to know what to expect in the coming year and equip themselves for it. It is also an occasion for the parents to interact with their wards’ teachers, and familiarize themselves with the examination pattern, the various extra-curricular activities their wards can take part in and the support they can provide at every juncture, throughout the year. Students and parents were made aware of the CBSE Board Pattern and new initiations taken by CBSE Board for the academic Year 2022- 23. Heartfelt Gratitude to our Respected Principal, Mr. Ishwar Patil Sir for guiding students and parents with the new pattern and making them aware about the Board Exam preparation.

National Panchayati Raj Day - 2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has celebrated National Panchayati Raj Day on 25th April 2022. National Panchayati Raj Day (National Local Self-Government day) is the national day of Panchayati Raj System in India celebrated by Ministry of Panchayati Raj on 24th April every year. Then Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh declared the first National Panchayati Raj Day on 24th April 2010. On this day Seventy third Constitution Amendment came into force. During this period, Prabhat Pheris (morning walks), sports competitions, sanitation campaigns and cultural programmes are held in the Gram Panchayat. Maharashtra Day and Labour Day - 2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has celebrated Maharashtra Day and Labour Day. To mark the date in 1960, when the western state attained statehood after the erstwhile Bombay State was divided. The 4th grade employees were being felicitated by Respected Principal Sir and staff of the school. Heartfelt Gratitude to our Respected Principal, Mr. Ishwar Patil Sir for guiding and providing us an opportunity to celebrate this day.

Cultural Fest 2021-2022

Podar International School, #Ichalkaranji has celebrated Cultural Fest on 27th April, 28th April and 29th April 2022 for the students across all the grades i.e Grade I to X.

Celebrations bring the students or the children closer to each other's cultural beliefs and traditions to develop respect and understanding for each other's customs and traditions. Celebrating events and festivals in our school has become an integral part of learning and building a strong cultural belief. The Cultural Fest was based on the theme "Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat".

The Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat program aims to actively enhance interaction between people of diverse cultures living in different States and UTs in India, with the objective of promoting greater mutual understanding amongst them.

Christmas Celebration - 2021

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has celebrated Christmas Day with full of joy and amusement on 23rd December 2021. The school was decorated beautifully with the colourful pictures of Christmas Eve. A very attractive Christmas Crib and Captivating Soft Boards were made by teachers to welcome the students and parents. The inauguration of Christmas Crib, Christmas Carol by Students, Preaching of Jesus Christ, Distribution of Chocolates by Santa, Fancy Dress and Christmas Tree Decoration Competitions for Parents & students, Talent Show, Group Dance by Students was the main attraction of the programme. The Guest of Honour of the Programme, Hon. Principal Shri. Ishwar Patil Sir addressed the parents and students and gave a message of peace, happiness and forgiveness.

Scifest-Interschool Science Exhibition 2021-22

Podar International School, Ichalkaranji has enthusiastically participated in the Scifest- Interschool Science Exhibition in the month of November 2021. The aim of this competition was to encourage, popularize and inculcate scientific temper among students. The Science Department of our School motivated the students to take part in Model Making Competition, Elocution Competition & Futuristic Skills Competition. School has got maximum students participation. Students of various grades explored their talent through their work of art in regards to science subject. The HOD of Science Department, Mrs. Amita Patil, has guided the students and Science Department Teachers to make it a grand success under the guidance of Principal Sir.

Children's Day Celebration - 2021

Podar International School, Yadrav, Ichalkaranji celebrated Children’s Day on 15th November 2021 in the school campus. The school management welcomed the students by offering greeting cards and organized entertainment programmes like Songs, Skit depicting the theme of “Respecting Elders”, Kalaripayattu Martial Art Demonstration, Kaun Banega Ka-Road Pati Funny Game Show by teachers. School also conducted sketching and drawing activities and organized motivational movies for students. School Principal Shri. Ishwar Patil Sir expressed his views about Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and conveyed his best wishes to students on the occasion of Children’s Day.
