A special ‘Goalkeeper Training Camp’ was organised for the students of 12 to 18 age group at Chh. Shahu Stadium from March 7 to March 12, 2022. The training session was organised with the special efforts of Ms. Madhurimaraje Chhatrapati, the Chairman of VIFA Ladies Football Club and the member of All India Football Federation. The students of Podar International School & Jr. College, Kolhapur Mst. Sarthak Petkar, Mst. Sairaj Dongale, Mst. Prem Raut, Miss Prachi Gote, Miss Samruddhi Potdar and Miss Mishita Ingavale were trained by the Indian Team Goalkeeper Coach Mr. Mario Aguar and Indian Junior Team Coach Mr. Sukhdev Patil. The training sessions included modern techniques such as basic catching diving, crossing, punching, distribution with hands and legs, drills, shot stooping dealing with crosses, psychological aspects etc. with theory and practical sessions.
