Celebration of National Science Day - 2020 The Students & Staff of Podar International School , Solapur celebrated National Science Day-2020 with a curiosity and enthusiasm.The entire morning assembly was based on Science and Technology. The students performed various science based activities , experiments and explained the scientific approach & logic behind the experiments. Hon'ble Principal Dr Ajay Kumar Panda Sir , reiterated that student should inculcate scientific temperament and should use technology for the betterment of mankind . Marathi Bhasha Diwas Celebration - 2020 The Students & Staff of Podar International School , Solapur celebrated Marathi Bhasha Diwas and Rajbhasha Marathi Din 2020 with enthusiasm and paid tribute to Shri Vishnu Vaman Shirwadkar ("Kusumagraj") the First recipient of "GyanPeeth Puraskar in Marathi Literature .The entire morning assembly was conducted in Marathi. The students performed a "Powada on Shri Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, & Hon'ble Principal Dr Ajay Kumar Panda Sir , reiterated that students should be multilingual to face the challenges in a globalised world. Visit to school garden of Grade I - 2020 The students of our School participated in Culminating Event of Thematic Unit "Fun With Plants and Animals" and Students also visited the garden to explore and experience various types of plants Culminating event of Grade I - 2020 Republic Day Celebration - 2020 The Podar International School, Solapur Celebrated 71st Republic Day 2020 with Proud and enthusiasm. Captain Balkrishna Gore (MarathaLi) was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Students participated actively in Parade and cultural activities. Hon'ble Chief Guest motivated the student to Join Armed Forces and protect the motherland and become a responsible citizen of the country. A Visit to Police Training Center - 2020 Podar International School Solapur Visited Police Training Center Keagoan, on account of Maharashtra Police Commemoration Day.The Student accessed the entire center and experienced the latest weapons used by our Security forces. A special gratitude to Hon'ble Mrs Sheetal Pravindra Wanjari , ACP and Vice Principal Police Training Center keagaon for permitting us and motivating our students. Grade II Thematic Unit 'Clothes donation drive' - 2020 Students wholeheartedly donated clothes to orphanage Christmas Celebration - 2019 The Students of Podar International School Celebrated the Christmas Day 2019 in a very meaningful way, to inculcate the value of Kindness and generosity,Hon'ble Principal Dr Ajay Kumar Panda took initiative to Celebrate Christmas day in a different way,Students approached to the needy ,differently abled , poor people, and voluntarily donated the food and sweet packets .The Citizens of Solapur and Print media appreciated the move taken by Podar International School.
