Fountainhead school has organised interschool science exhibition on 21st February,2024(Wednesday) to celebrate national science day for grade 7th, 8th and 9th.

Theme : Sculptsci : Crafting the future using sustainable science

Grade 7TH B
PARTICIPANTS: PRANAY RATHI, AARAV PRASAD, ADITYA BARNWAL
TOPIC: ATMOSPHERIC WATER GENERATOR: developing a water generator which will condense the suspended water molecules (humidity) from the atmosphere into liquid phase water.

Grade 8th A
PARTICIPANTS: MENISH BHINDI, OM BEHRA, ANANYA SHARMA
TOPIC: Green Building technology: A Green Building is one which uses less water, optimizes energy efficiency, conserves natural resources, generates less waste and provides healthier space for occupants as compared to conventional building.

Grade 9th B
PARTICIPANTS: SAKSHI PATHAK, RAJVI GEDIYA, SAYNA ANSARI
TOPIC: Waste management system: This project deals with the problem of waste management in smart cities, where the garbage collection system is not optimised. This project enables the organisations to meet their needs of smart garbage management systems.

Sports Day Celebration at Podar International School, Surat for Grade 1st to 5th.

Sports is an important part of our Primary curriculum as it teaches discipline, teamwork and undoubtedly, is full of fun!

We celebrated our Sports Day with our students . Equal opportunity, full participation, and fair play are emphasized through both team games and individual races. It helps children to develop a competitive spirit as well as a passion for exercise at an early age.

Sports is about learning what your body is capable of. It helps in improving hand/eye co-ordination, spatial awareness and balance. Various races were developed by our sports teachers to enhance the spirit of Sports Day.

Our school students were participated in CBSE cluster - XIII West Zone Chess Competition 2023-24 Competition which is held at Ahmedabad (Gujarat) on 26th october,2023 to 29th october,2023 at Atmiya Vidya Niketan .

Our school's Sports department is highly engage and involved in this activity, as a result students perform well throughout the tournament with a positive mindset and attitude which is truly help them in future. students also had lot of fun and they felt their hidden talent.

To inculcate leadership qualities in the students and to give them a feel of the functioning of the administrative body, the school Prefectorial Council was formed after scrutiny and election at Podar International School, Surat.“Student Council 2023 - 2024 Investiture Ceremony” held with the spirit of young, talented and shaping young life with leadership spirit. The Principal Sir Mr. Ayan Gupta administered the oath to the elected council members. The council members were conferred with Badges and Sashes by Our Principal sir, Coordinator and House Masters.

We congratulate all the newly elected School Council Members and wish them all the best for their new roles and responsibilities.

School clubs activities were organized on friday and Saturdayof every week for Grade 1st to Grade 8 th in Podar International School, Surat. Students have participated enthusiastically, they have learned many new things.

When it comes about teaching the culture and the way of living to the world India’s name is always taken with a huge respect, but culture is not the only thing that India has taught to this world. There are many unique and great practices that India has imparted to the entire globe and Yoga is one of them. Showing a huge respect towards the nation and the Yoga, Podar International School, Surat celebrated the ‘International Yoga Day’ at the campus on 21th June 2023, where the students of grade I to XI participated enthusiastically and performed numerous yogasanas. Various yoga postures and different asanas including pranayama and meditation were performed. Through this session, students were enlightened on the benefits of yoga and the need to remain healthy and fit. The students enjoyed the session immensely. The happy and content faces of the children clearly showed that they were full of zeal and enjoyed the session thoroughly. The sumptuous conduction was done under the leadership of the sports head Dr. Shailesh Narodiya.

Experiencery the wave of an indigenous concept among the teachers and the students was sublime. Conclusively the event was a true representation of India’s Pride.

National Panchayati Raj Day reminds us of the vital role that local governance plays in promoting social, economic, and political development.

Special Assembly was organized at Podar International School, #surat on special day “National Panchayati Raj Day”. Students of Ventus House have performed a Special Assembly with the awareness of Panchayati Raj.

On this National Panchayati Raj Day, let us celebrate the spirit of democracy and the power of local governance. Let us strive to strengthen Panchayati Raj institutions and empower rural communities.

A Jumpstart Event has activities that are supposed to be carried out before the theme is introduced in the school. This is to immerse the students in the theme without directly telling them what it is all about. These activities are designed to surprise the students, evoke their imagination and engage them in the upcoming theme from the start.

Podar International School, #surat students have experienced and enjoyed the world of invention with the theme ‘TECH-IT-UP!: A World of Gadgets and Gizmos’ which focuses on making the students more aware of the technology we use every day and encouraging them to appreciate how it influences our lives. It has also empowers young learners to understand that technology is anything that people have developed to help us live, work and play satisfactorily.

Water is one of the resources that is vastly used in producing clothes. The irrelevant need of buying clothes should be controlled to save the environment.

Podar International School, Surat has organized an Eco- Fashion Show in the theme of ‘PARIVARTAN’ DRIVE 2021-22’ – ‘Eco Warriors – A Sustainable You & I’.

The Eco-Fashion show is an attempt to encourage sustainable clothing. The students of Grade 3rd to 5th enthusiastically participated and got an opportunity to present their designed outfits that were made during the sessions.
