The festivities began with a chic ramp walk by the Grade 10 students, followed by lively music and energetic dance performances by the Grade 9 students. Tears of joy and sadness intertwined as students and teachers conveyed their best wishes for the future. The farewell gathering at Podar International School, Beed, truly became a memorable and unforgettable occasion, signifying the conclusion of one chapter and the commencement of another for the Grade 10 students as they embark on new adventures. A sumptuous dinner added a touch of sentimentality to this truly unforgettable evening. Heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this farewell celebration unforgettable!

Podar International School, #Beed marked its 7th Annual Day with a primary focus on the theme ' "Krishna Kathayein"'. The event was a kaleidoscope of festivities, featuring music, captivating dances, and vibrant colors, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and joy. Shri Nandkumar Thakur, IPS, Superintendent of Police Beed, graced the evening as the esteemed Chief Guest, adding an extra layer of brilliance to the celebration. Attendees included students, parents, teachers, staff, and other esteemed guests.

The students of Grade II of Podar International School, #Beed, joyfully celebrated the culminating event, “Fashion Fiesta,” for THEMATIC UNIT "Clothes."

Organised within the school premises by both students and teachers of Grade II, the event showcased their knowledge and understanding of various aspects related to clothing learned throughout the thematic unit.

The students creatively donned outfits suitable for winter, summer, and monsoon seasons, along with attire representing celebratory occasions, historical periods, smart appearance, community helper roles, and diverse fabric types. During the event, they eloquently discussed the significance of the clothing they wore. Additionally, the girls presented a lively dance performance themed around the question "where are the clothes?"

The overall experience was a delightful and engaging celebration.

Inauguration of Innovative Robotics Lab at Podar International School.

On January 26, 2024, Podar International School #Beed witnessed the inauguration of the first-of-its-kind innovative Robotics Lab, commemorating Republic Day.

Podar Innovation Lab was designed to provide essential skills for the 21st century to students in the school. This lab was tailored to offer a comprehensive approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, allowing students hands-on experiences with various activities and projects related to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Expert teachers were appointed to guide and inspire the next generation through this innovation lab. The lab allowed students to discuss and brainstorm ideas with their peers and parents, promoting collaborative learning. This innovation lab catered to students of diverse ages and capacities, accommodating various levels of interest and challenges in activities and projects. The lab included diverse robotic kits that allowed students to programme with blocks or code. Virtual reality headsets enable students to explore different environments and situations. Electronic circuit and device kits were available for creating working electronic circuits and devices. 3D printers allowed students to bring their designs to life.

This lab served as a place for students to discover their capabilities, express their creativity, and showcase their ingenuity. It was a space where students could prepare for the future and become innovative contributors to society. The lab was not just a physical space; it was a place where students could explore, learn, and create. It was a platform for preparing students for a rapidly changing technological landscape and nurturing their skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Podar International School, #Beed, conducted the Culminating Event "Myths & Legends: 'Believe It or Not’" under the Integrated English theme, MYTHBUSTERS: Uncovering Myths, Fairy Tales, and Legends Engraved in Time. The culminating event was organised in the school to focus on understanding the relevance of myths and legends in exploring the history, traditions, beliefs, and customs of various communities and countries across the world. Students performed different activities like Characters Come Alive!, Myths and Legends Quiz, Knit a Skit, Fashion Show, and Dance performance.

Podar International School Beed oragnized House Competition ‘The Wall of Myths under the integrated theme 'MYTHBUSTERS: Uncovering Myths, Fairy Tales, and Legends Engraved in Time’ on December 9, 2023. Students dove into the rich tapestry of myths from India, Greece, Egypt, and Rome and collected information, pictures, symbols and articles . Students made various charts, modals, and posters.They presented themselves extraordinarily and showed great enthusiasm towards the activity. The students learned different myths that are followed and practiced in different cultures. The ‘Wall of Myths’ house competition is an opportunity for the children to think, explore, and express their learning in a creative way.

Celebrating the 9th Sports Day extravaganza at Podar International School, Beed! On November 8, 2023, our school grounds came alive with the spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and talent.

The day kicked off with an exhilarating march past and torch relay, setting the stage for a day full of excitement. Our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. J.P. Shelke, Shiv Chhatrapati awardee,and Dr. Arun Bade, renowned cardiacologist, added a touch of prestige as they released pigeons, officially declaring the meet open.

The air resonated with the soulful tunes of Kabir Cafe,captivating the audience. The primary-grade students stole the spotlight with a dynamic dance performance, showcasing their incredible talent and enthusiasm.

Trophies and medals shone brightly as the winners were honored for their outstanding achievements. Mr. Arun Bade, a renowned cardiologist, joined Mr. Shelke in motivating our students with inspiring speeches. Principal Mr. Ganesh Kakade emphasized the importance of sports in student life, extending heartfelt wishes to all participants and their proud parents.

All four houses displayed breathtaking drills, from Lazim to Dumbells, umbrellas, Ribbons, and even impressive pyramids. The team-game winners basked in glory, receiving well-deserved certificates and trophies. Parents also had their share of fun with specially arranged games.

Podar International School #Beed organized an educational excursion to Pallawankur Agro Tourism, a delightful destination situated in Sambhaji Nagar. Beyond the regular school routine, this outing provided students with a refreshing experience surrounded by nature. Our students immersed themselves in the serene beauty of PALLAVNKUR FARMS, engaging in various activities.

Independence Day Celebration at Podar International School, Beed - A Grand Commemoration.

Podar International School, Beed, radiated with the spirit of patriotism and unity as it celebrated India's 77th Independence Day on the 15th of August, 2023. The event was a remarkable fusion of reverence, jubilation, and pride, with students, parents, faculty, and esteemed guests coming together to honour the country's freedom struggle and its journey towards progress.

The distinguished event saw the presence of notable individuals, including Mr. Prakash Gholap, a retired Army officer, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

The ceremonial proceedings commenced with a poignant homage to the Amar Jawan, a heartfelt tribute to the brave soldiers who have laid down their lives for our country's freedom. This solemn moment was followed by the unfurling of the national flag, a symbol of our sovereignty and unity. The crowd reverberated with emotion as the National Anthem, Maharashtra Geet, and Jhanda Geet resonated, infusing the atmosphere with a deep sense of pride and belonging.

The cultural essence of India was vividly displayed through a house-wise dance competition that revolved around the theme of patriotism. The performances were a splendid mosaic of colours, rhythm, and unity, embodying the strength that arises from our diverse heritage.

The Investiture Ceremony was held on 10th August 2023 at Podar International School #Beed.

Students of Podar International School# Beed earned laurels & accolades for the school by winning a coveted position in an inter-school "What's The Good Word", Virtual Competition. The competition was held on the10th February 2021, Organized by Podar International School, Aurangabad for the Grade of IX & X. Abhuruchi Talatkar and Shreya Wagh of grade X were the team members of Podar International School, Beed team. The students participated enthusiastically and bagged the Second position in this competition.

Podar International School,#Beed celebrated 72nd Republic Day on the 26th January, 2021.

Students, Staff and Faculty members, filled with a feeling of patriotism and dedication, gathered at the School Premises. The event commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag followed by the rendition of the national anthem. The students and staff brought the stage alive with their passion and love for their motherland by singing melodious patriotic songs, stupendous dance performances and a small skit were also showcased by the students.

The Chief Guest for the program was Veer Vadhu, Ms. Aruna Nagargoje Ma’am and Dr. Pradnya Tambe Ma'am. The Teaching staff and Principal Mr.B.D.Kotwani sir were conferred with the Certificate of Loyalty by the chief guest for completing 5 years of service with Podar Education Network. The chief guest addressed the students and urged them to do their best and feel proud to be an Indian. Principal Mr. B.D Kotwani sir in his invigorating speech highlighted the importance of the Constitution and its unique features such as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic and Republic enshrined in the preamble of the constitution. The program ended with the message to create a great nation through the collective efforts of all individuals. After the successful complition of 1st day of Fit India School Week, Podar International School, #Beed observed it's 2nd day on 15th December2020 with great fervour.

Day-2 of the Fit India School Week was Yoga Session. The yoga session began inviting the positive rays with the‘Om Shanthi’chant. This was followed by warm up exercises. Ms. Sheetal, Yoga Teacher, demonstrated various asanas such as Surya Namaskar, Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Adho Mukha Svanasana, Trikonasana and many more fitness activities.

The students were made aware of various benefits of these asanas for both mind and body which include flexibility, strength, stress relief and cure of many life style diseases. Students ,parents and Teachers enthusiastically participated in this session.

“Success and fitness are closely connected. All successful people are fit. Body fit hai toh mind hit hai,” Narendra Modi.

Podar International School, #Beed, in compliance with the CBSE initiated FIT INDIA MOVEMENT conducted several activities to celebrate the ‘Fit India School Week ' in the school from 14th to19th December, 2020.

The week long fitness program commenced with saraswati pujan followed by a motivating speech by our Principal, Mr. B. D. Kotwani. He addressed the students on this occasion and urged them to make exercise a daily habit.

The Day-1 session was Free Hand Exercises and Aerobics, it was conducted on 14th December 2020. After a brief warming up session the students were taught a few free hand exercises and advised to follow these sets of exercises daily to achieve a fit and healthy body. Students, parents and staff participated in the event with great fervor, vitality and team spirit.

Podar International School #Beed bagged Third prize in Inter - Podar Virtual Quiz Competition organized by PIS Waluj on 10th December 2020.The competition was organised for Grade 3,4&5 students of Aurangabad Hub schools. Students of Podar International School Beed Sumedh Khanage of grade III , Ishan Shinde of grade IV & Ojhas Dhase of grade V were the team members of PIS Beed team they scored fantastically in all rounds of the competition and secured third position. The event helped to promote a healthy spirit of competition among the participants, and also helped them to learn from each other.

The Inter-School Virtual English Poem Recitation Competition was held on Monday 30th November 2020 where grade III to V Students of Podar International School, #Beed participated Virtually. The Competition was organized by PIS Waluj where all the schools from PIS Aurangabad hub participated. The Preliminary round was conducted virtually by PIS Beed from where two children of each grade were selected for the Final Round. The young poets of PIS Beed performed very enthusiastically in the Competition and enthralled the audience with their articulation and memory skills while reciting poems. Principal Mr. B.D.Kotwani sir appreciated and applauded the performances of the participants.

Students of Podar International School #Beed participated in the Inter-School Virtual Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition, organized by PIS Buldhana on 28th November 2020.

The competition was for the Grade 1&2 students. Students from each section participated and exhibited their talent with confidence, poise, and command over the Hindi language. Students choose a variety of topics to express themselves through poetry.

The competition inspired the students to come forward and recite the poem with great zeal and enthusiasm using beautiful and creative props on the stage which has ultimately developed their speaking skill. Podar International School, Beed had its very first Virtual Investiture Ceremony on 5th October 2020.

The investiture ceremony signifies the belief and poise that the school consigns in the newly invested office bearers. In this unique virtual dais, the virtuous deserving young Podarites were formally bestowed with the responsibility of leading their school with their commitment, confidence and competence.

This year the Investiture Ceremony was very unique. Teachers honored the students council members by visiting their home, to confer the Badges and sashes.

The Head Boy and the Head Girl along with the council members were imparted with the duty of enhancing young leaders and pledged the oath of commitment, endurance, and empowering of young minds of the school.

The honorable Chief Guest Mr.Sandesh Lolge, Charter President of Rotary Club Beed , graced the occasion with his august presence. Vice principal Mr.Sudarshan Khange and teachers were present for the event, maintaining social distancing.

An inspiring speech given by the school Principal Mr. B.D. Kotwani, congratulated the newly appointed school council members and their preparedness to take up responsibilities entrusted onto them. He also encouraged the students to be committed towards significant issues and always be sentient of the fact that leadership comes with veracity.

Every year the 29th of August is celebrated as the National Sports Day in India.

It is also celebrated on this particular day keeping in mind the birth anniversary of the greatest hockey legend the country has ever had - Major Dhyan Chand.

We at Podar International School,#Beed celebrate this day with great pomp and show but due to the prevailing pandemic scenario, we came up with something different. We Celebrated National Sports Day 2020 by organizing Virtual Sports Aerobics and Online Quiz Competition for our students. Students joined virtually through Zoom meeting id and had sports aerobics online. The Chief Guest for the Virtual program was Mr. J.P.Shelke who is Shiv Chatraptai Sports Award winner and former General Secretary of Maharashtra Kho-Kho Association he addressed the students on this occasion and urged them to make exercise a daily habit, as it will help in building a better personality.

Principal Mr.B.D Kotwani addressed the students with a message that education without sports activities is incomplete. Holistic development of a student is possible only when he/she is physically fit and emotionally balanced.

After this event an online Sports Quiz link was shared with students. They enthusiastically participated in this quiz and received E Certificates.

A Debate Competition on National Education Policy 2020 for teachers was conducted at Podar International School #Beed on 28th August 2020 . Teachers participated and discussed upon the Historic decision of NEP 2020 taken by our government.

Ganesha Chaturthi celebrates the glory of Lord Gajanan who symbolises the beginning and represents the removal of all obstacles before embarking on any new endeavour.

To invoke the feeling of positivity and to seek blessings from Lord Ganesha, Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated at Podar International School, #Beed. Shri Ganesha idol was established in the school premises with overwhelming welcoming and pooja. Ganesh Aaarati and pooja were worshiped and performed by the Principal Mr.B.D. Kotwani and Vice Principal Mr.Sudarshan Khange.

The whole atmosphere was charged with festivity. The celebration ended with great joy, happiness and devotion towards Lord Ganesha.

The Farewell Ceremony for the outgoing students of STD X was organised by the Podar International School #Beed on 16 February 2020. Students of classes 10 and their teachers, gathered at Hotel Vighnaharta, Beed for the Farewell ceremony.They were beautifully dressed in traditional costumes.The function began with giving token of love to all the outgoing students.Further, the event was made memorable with the flashback memories that were shared by some students in the speech that created an emotional moment.They expressed their heartfelt gratitude for a wonderful platform given by the School for their overall development and thanked their mentors profusely.The Farewell ceremony was addressed by the principal, Mr. Valmik Somase, In his address,he gave some valuable tips for the forthcoming examinations and also on how to fare well in life with confidence and self-assurance.

He also stressed upon the need to incubate values and to follow up with the best path on moral grounds to be a responsible citizen of tomorrow.

The program concluded with teachers showering their blessings on the students of Grade 10, wishing them to attain greater heights as they step out to chase their dreams and aspirations.

The 6th Annual Sports Day at Podar International School Beed was held on Saturday, the 21st of December, 2019, with great zeal and excitement.
Mr.Gautam Chopde B.E.O Beed, was the chief guest on the occasion.The opening ceremony comprised a variety of performances by the students. It included the Welcome Song, Dance, and Lazim. The students mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.
The event began with march-past this was followed by the house flag installation, torch relay, lighting of the Olympic Flame, oath-taking, and the declaration of the Sports Meet was open by disbursing the colorful balloons in the sky. Students who had brought laurels by participating in various games at National and State level were felicitated.
Declaring the meet open, Principal Mr.Valmik Somase spoke about the benefits of sports, and how competing with others should be one’s last motive while playing any game. The focus should always be on mastering the skills and learning the true essence of sportsmanship, that eventually makes one a good human being.He also expressed his concerns about the increased academic burden, due to which students can’t focus much on their favorite sport. But here at PIS Beed the curriculum designed allows students in maintaining good balance between both i.e. academics and sports.
Once the race began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes.
Students of classes I to X competed in events including sprints, relays, obstacle race and fun races.
The Sports Day was truly enjoyed by the parents, teachers and the students with high appreciation from all the guests.

Podar International School  Beed felicitated the students of Inter school sports competition achievers who excelled in various sports events like Football, Cricket and kabaddi .

The Competition was organized by DPS, Beed. Our students astounded everyone through their commendable performance thereby securing 1st position in Under 14 Boys Football competition,

Principal Mr.Valmik Somase gave the trophies to the young achievers for their admirable sportsmanship. Principal in his address appreciated the unstinting efforts of the children, encouraged them to inculcate sports in their lifestyle and take it up as a career. He reiterated that sports play a pivotal role in teaching values like discipline, responsibility and self- confidence.

The students and teachers of Podar International School, #Beed celebrated "Children's Day" on 14th November 2019 with utmost joy and excitement.

Students and teachers attired in vibrant outfits, they arrived to a gaily decorated school, festooned with colorful balloons and huge banners proclaiming ‘Happy Children’s Day’.

Principal Mr. Valmik Somase ,Vice Principal sir and all teachers welcomed the blooming buds with roses. A special morning assembly was organized by the teachers to mark the occasion and to make children feel special. Teachers gave a variety of performances like dance,skit,and song for their students in order to convey their love and care for them.

Students were elated to see their teachers up on stage performing and celebrating the day with zeal and enthusiasm.There was excitement in the air and the young ones were full of stories about their special day at school.

The Principal Mr. Valmik Somase greeted the students on this occasion and exhorted them to follow the path of honesty and hard work.

He also gave the message of peace and harmony and motivated them to dream big and stay focused in whatever they do.

It was surely a happy and fun filled day for our children as they left home with happy faces.

Podar International School Beed organised STARDUST: To Infinity and Beyond! , event in the school premises on Saturday 19th October 2019. The ‘STARDUST’ event was the concluding event for the school wide theme and Integrated English Module ‘Space Troopers. Principal Mr.Valmik Somase and Chief Guest Ms.Deepatai Kshirsagar inaugurated the event by cutting the ribbon, Mr.Valmik Somase welcomed the Chief Guest with bouquet as a token of love. The Stardust event provided opportunities to the students to showcase their learning and sharing the experiences they had during the course of the module. It was a platform where they had a chance to exhibit what they discovered of the Solar System, the planets and the galaxies that comprise the Universe.

The students displayed technological advancements such as space stations and satellites and how humans can travel to space and collect information not just of the Universe but also observe the Earth and use it for our benefit through satellites.Parents were invited to participate and experience this unique event.

Podar International School,#Beed organised an educational tour to kaplidhar Shri Manmath swami Temple, Manjarsumba, Beed. Students of class I-III were taken to the Shrikshetra Kapiladhar. It is a scenic pilgrimage spot in Beed district In the vicinity of the dense forest, It is located at the base of a waterfall falling ten meters high in the valley of hills.There is a mausoleum of Manmath Swami.The temple of Manmath Swami is situated near the waterfall.Students were accompanied with the Principal Mr. Valmik Somase , Vice Principal, and the mother teachers . This tour was to facilitate the students to know and understand the real, multicultural world. Students got the chance to build closer bonds with their classmates,they experienced new environments and enjoyed a day away from the classroom.

A memorable trip it was for the students as well as the teachers.

Podar International School, Beed celebrated Marathwada Liberation Day, also known as Marathwada Mukti Sangram Diwas with full zeal and patriotism. The program began with the unfurling of the national flag by the Principal Mr.Valmik Somase. Students sang patriotic song as a mark of respect to their free mother land. Teachers shared their views on Marathwada Mukti Sangram Diwas.

Principal Mr. Valmik Somase in his speech said, It is the moment to bow before the freedom fighters who liberated marathwad from the tyrannical rule of the nizam,many made an earnest efforts to rescue marathwad from nizam's clutches."We must not forget their sacrifice, "I offer my humble tributes to all the martyrs who laid down their lives in the Mukti Sangram and convey my greetings to the people on the occasion of Marathwada Mukti Sangram Diwas," he said.

Podar International School, #Beed celebrated Hindi Day on 14th Sept 2019, in the school premises.

Various activities like poem and speech,vocabulary games, slogans and poem skit were conducted in a special assembly to commemorate our National language.Students enthusiastically participated in these activities .There was a sense of pride when children recited Hindi poems ,delivered speeches and read slogans pointing to the importance of the language. A poem skit was also presented by the primary grade students underlining the role of national language in the current scenario. Principal Mr.Valmik Somase said on the occasion, that we all have responsibility towards the language, not only to preserve it in its purest form but also in our contribution to enrich it. He also said that Hindi is one of the most beautiful language in the world and we should encourage its maximum use as no nation can progress without the growth of its language. It was a well spent day where students got the opportunity to showcase their talent and creative skills.

Under the theme of ‘SPACE TROOPERS – A Hitchhike through the Mysterious Universe’.

Students of Grades 1 & 2 participated in a ‘Dance and Movement’ activity.In this activity the students followed some steps and dance to the Astronauts Space Song. Through the song they came to know what work an astronaut does and his importance. This activity helped students to develop their listening skill and their gross motor skills. Students of Grade 3 & 4 participated in Class Discussion – ‘Will Space Travel become a Reality for us?’ What does the Future of Space exploration Look Like?. In this activity students discussed and expressed their opinions on Space travel being a reality or not and pondered on what the future of Space exploration looks like?. Students of Grades 5 & 6 wrote the stories imagining themselves floating on planet earth with no gravity.Through this activity students learned about the force of Gravity.Students of Grades 7 & 8 participated in a creative expression activity. The objective of this activity is to get the students to think creatively and come up with a catchy advertisement for a celestial body in the space. In this creative activity, students learned about an object in our solar system and created a travel advertisement to attract future space tourists to their exotic destination.

Podar International School,#Beed conducted ‘Literature Circle’as a 2-day special feature for the Grades I-VIII. The aim of this special feature ‘Literature Circle’ is to inculcate a habit of reading books and reflecting on them in a group.

Literature Circle is a collaborative, student-centered strategy it provides a way for students to engage in critical thinking and reflections as they read, discuss and respond to books.

Day-1 The students were introduced to the Literature Circle they experienced Literature Circle by performing individual based activities.The students were divided into groups of 6 and got involved in activities that helped them understand the different roles in the Literature Circle.

Day-2 The students continued with the Literature Circle by performing activities that helped them to complete all the roles in the Literature Circle and perform them in the classroom.
