"Podar International School Chinchwad shines at Inter-Podar Chess Tournament!

The Inter-Podar Chess Tournament for the academic year 2025-26 was held on 31 Jan 2026 at PIS Rohakal Chakan. With 8 Podar schools from Pune Hub participating, the event promoted intellectual growth, strategic thinking, and sportsmanship among students.

Podar Chinchwad rocked the tournament, winning the Champion Trophy and bagging 7 achievement trophies! and one champion Trophy.

• Under 14 Girls: Tanvi Karyakarte (2nd), Nidhi Patil (3rd)
• Under 17 Boys: Shambhav Bhatewara (1st), Kavish Shrivastava (2nd)

Inter School Folk Dance Competition

"Rhythms of India: Inter School Folk Dance Competition"

Podar International School Chinchwad participated in an Inter school Folk dance competition on the 9th of February, 2026 securing second prize among ten participating schools.

The students performed a vibrant folk dance, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra under the able guidance of the teachers.

They showcased traditional dance ‘Gondhal’, enthralling the audience with energy and authenticity.

Participants brought life to the spirit of Maharashtra's folk through colorful costumes and props which added to the festive atmosphere.

The energetic, dynamic moves and rhythmic beats captivated everyone.

The judges praised the participants' enthusiasm and authenticity, making the competition a resounding success.

National Level Thai Boxing Championship

We are immensely proud to share a moment of great achievement for our school!

Our talented young Podarite Miss. Lisha Choudhary of class VI C has brought laurels to the school by winning the Gold Medal and a Certificate at the National Level Thai Boxing Championship held from 6th to 8th February 2026 in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Her remarkable performance at the national stage reflects her dedication, perseverance, and fighting spirit. This accomplishment is not only a personal milestone for her but also a proud moment for our entire school community.

We congratulate her wholeheartedly on this outstanding success and wish her many more achievements in the years to come.
