Our heartfelt congratulations to Mast,.Sheil Ajit Naik of Grade VIII on his outstanding achievement at the CBSE Zonal Yoga Competition, held in Lonavala from 27th to 31st July.

With his exceptional performance, Sheil has earned selection for the CBSE National Level Yoga Competition with discipline and unwavering commitment to excellence.

A Proud Moment for Our School!

We are delighted to congratulate Ms. Labhada Kedar Gujar of Grade VIII, on being officially recognised by the Influencer Book of World Records for her remarkable participation in a historic world record achievement.

On the occasion of the 12th International Yoga Day, Labhada was one of 21 pairs who successfully performed 21 yoga formations in just 21 minutes, setting a Book of World Records milestone.

Her dedication, discipline, flexibility, endurance, and commitment to excellence have brought immense pride to our school. We applaud her outstanding achievement and wish her continued success in all her future endeavours.

A Proud Moment for Podar International School, Chinchwad!

Heartiest congratulations to Ms. Aindrita Mondal of Class IX-A on her outstanding achievement in the National Science Olympiad.

Aindrita was honoured by Dr. Praveen Gupta, a highly distinguished Neurologist and Chairman of the Marengo Asia International Institute of Neuro and Spine (MAIINS), at the 28th International Annual Award Ceremony of the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) held in New Delhi.

She has achieved the prestigious International Silver Medal, along with a cash prize of ₹25,000.

Her dedication, perseverance and academic excellence have brought immense pride to her family, teachers and the entire Podar International School, Chinchwad community.

"Proud Achievement at Art Battle Season 6"

We are delighted to share that our talented students participated in Art Battle Season 6-Pune City Round presented by Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, held at Elpro International School, Hinjewadi phase 1, Pune on 28th July 2026.

The competition was conducted across three categories:

  • Junior: Grades 3–5
  • Middle: Grades 6–8
  • Senior: Grades 9–12

We are extremely proud to announce that two of our students secured 2nd Position in their respective categories:

  • Junior Category: Anaya Varma – Grade 5-E
  • Senior Category: Purva Fulari – Grade 10-H

Their creativity, dedication, and artistic expression truly deserve appreciation. Heartiest congratulations to Anaya and Purva on this wonderful achievement!

Quest to Conquer – Quiz Competition

Podar International School, Chinchwad recently participated in a quiz competition titled “Quest to Conquer” which was organized by the Fateh Education Foundation for the students of Grades IX and XII with the aim of encouraging curiosity, general awareness, teamwork, and a healthy spirit of competition. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 16 podarites who were selected based on merit.

There were almost 180 numbers of students from different schools in and around Pune regions. Our proud podarites displayed impressive knowledge and confidence.

The competition consisted of several challenging and engaging rounds covering all genres such as General Knowledge, Science, Mathematics, Current Affairs, Literature, Sports, and Audio- Visual Identification. The participants demonstrated quick thinking, excellent teamwork, and a remarkable ability to recall facts under pressure. The young podarites received a certificate of excellence, gift vouchers and cash prizes.

The winners and participants were appreciated for their outstanding performance and sportsmanship. “Quest to Conquer” proved to be an enriching and enjoyable experience, inspiring students to broaden their knowledge and continue their quest for learning and excellence.....

Students from Podar International School Chinchwad brought laurels to the institution by securing the second positio in the prestigious Puranava Quiz2026-27, which was based on Indian history, culture and heritage.

A team of 18 enthusiastic students participated in the competition with great interest and enthusiasm. After successfully appearing for the preliminary round, Rohan Mondal, Sumedh Patil and Aindrita Mondal cleared the preliminary stage and progressed further in the competition. Their outstanding knowledge, confidence and teamwork helped them secure an impressive second position out of the 26 participating schools.

The students faced a series of challenging rounds, including the Rapid Fire Round where the adrenaline rush was at its peak”, as it demanded exceptional speed, presence of mind and precision. The intensity of the rapid-fire segment added to the excitement of the competition, as participants had to answer questions within a very limited time.

The achievement is a matter of great pride for the students, their parents, teachers and the entire school community. The performance reflects the students’ keen interest in learning about India’s rich historical and cultural heritage, as well as the encouragement and guidance provided by our Principal Ma’am Ms. Shehanz Cottar.

The school congratulates the three achievers for their commendable performance and appreciates all 18 participating students for representing the school with enthusiasm and dedication. Their success is an inspiration to other students to explore India’s glorious past and develop a deeper appreciation of its diverse cultural heritage.

Dance Competition: Lok Rang, of Standard X

The Standard X intra school Dance Competition “Lok Rang”, held on the 13th of August, 2026, at Podar International School, Chinchwad, was a spectacular celebration and blend of India’s folk and classical heritage. It was held to celebrate India’s cultural heritage through folk and classical dance forms. The event was hosted by and featured vibrant performances by students of Grade X, showcasing the spirit of traditional dance, infused with the classical aura. Each performance was filled with passion, energy, creativity, and dedication. The event successfully highlighted how dance serves as "the truest language of the soul", connecting students to their roots.

The dance forms presented were from a diverse range of folk such as Gondhal - Folk Dance of Maharashtra, Garba- Folk Dance of Gujarat, Kalbeliya - the Rajasthani Folk Dance, and also the classical and spiritual forms such as Bharatanatyam, the Mahakali Dance, and also Murlidhar Kautawarm - yet another classical charisma. The program was seamlessly organised with the exuberance of Grace and traditional grandeur. Leaving the audience mesmerized and in awe of the diverse dance forms.

There were 3 winning positions bagged by each of Folk & Classical genres of Dance.

The second runner up in Classical was bagged by Manasvi Warhade; the first runner up in Classical being Advika Kurup, while the first position in Classical was conjointly secured by Tanaya Biradar and Tanaya Kumbhar.

The second runner up in Folk was Shaivi Patware; the first runner up in Folk being Niharika Davari, and the first position in Folk was carried away by Shambhavi Mahalank.
