In collaboration with Skillsphere Enlighten MUN programme was designed (beginners & advanced) for students of Grades 6 to 9.Model United Nations (MUN) are a simulation of the United Nations wherein students role-play as delegates of different countries and discuss various international issues. MUN's are conducted in schools and colleges across the globe. For a student to effectively participate in these conferences, they must be adept with certain skills like public speaking and diplomacy amongst others.

This year, the session commenced with students understanding the art of introducing themselves better. Next, the students were introduced to the importance of an educated opinion with the objective of enhancing their confidence and conviction. After understanding the importance, they were put on a dais where they were encouraged to express their opinions through various debating, collaborative problem solving activities and group discussions. Finally, they learnt the history and structure of the UN and MUN procedural training. All these activities were taught employing a global perspective which not only enhanced their global awareness, but also diplomacy, critical thinking, lateral thinking and problem solving abilities. These skills were then tested in the two day Intra - MUN Competition in which our students excelled!
