School Events at Purnia

Podar International School, Purnia successfully conducted the Podar Volunteer Programme – Plantation Drive on 11 September 2026. The initiative aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of trees, environmental conservation, and maintaining a greener and healthier environment.

The programme witnessed active participation from the students, who enthusiastically planted saplings within the school premises. The activity provided students with an opportunity to connect with nature and understand the vital role of trees in maintaining ecological balance.

The event was graced by Chief Guest, Deepak Didwania Sir, who interacted with the students and motivated them to actively contribute towards protecting the environment. He explained the importance of planting and nurturing trees, shared valuable insights on environmental conservation, and encouraged the students to make tree plantation a part of their daily lives.

The plantation drive concluded with students taking a pledge to care for nature and work towards a greener and more sustainable future. The event successfully instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness among the students about the importance of trees and a clean, green environment.

Podar International School, Purnia proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony on 6 August 2026, marking a significant occasion in the school's commitment to nurturing leadership, responsibility, and discipline among students.

The ceremony commenced with a well-coordinated parade by the newly elected student council members. The newly elected Head Boy, Head Girl, House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captains, and other student leaders were formally invested with badges and sashes. The Principal Sir congratulated the student leaders and encouraged them to lead with integrity and dedication.

The Investiture Ceremony was graced by Shri Rejesh Kumar, Circle Head, Punjab National Bank, Purnia Circle, as the Chief Guest. His presence added great significance to the occasion, and he encouraged the newly appointed student leaders with his inspiring words and valuable guidance.

The programme also featured vibrant cultural performances, including music and dance. The event concluded with the Oath Taking Ceremony, where the student council members pledged to uphold the values and vision of the school while serving with honesty and sincerity.

Podar International School, Purnia proudly marked its inauguration and official opening on 18 June 2026. The occasion was graced by Mr. Pritam Kumar, SBI Bank Manager, Kasba, Purnia, as the Chief Guest.

The ceremony marked the beginning of the school's academic journey and reflected its commitment to providing quality education and a nurturing learning environment for students.

A special highlight of the day was the commencement of regular classes from 18 June 2026. Students were warmly welcomed to their classrooms and began their new academic journey with enthusiasm.

Parents Orientation Programme Report

A Parents Orientation Programme was conducted at the school on 16th June, where all the parents were invited. During the programme, the Principal Sir addressed the parents and briefed them about the history and journey of the organisation. He also shared important information about the school and its approach towards the academic and overall development of students.
