This year's annual concert was more than just a celebration. Our theme this year was Jumbo’s Panchkosha. It denotes holistic education. We believe in nurturing not just the minds but also the hearts and bodies of our kindergarten children. Come let’s celebrate the wonders of learning, growth, and holistic development. Podar Prep Kankavli organized a Dental checkup camp for all its students. The aim of the camp was to check, regulate and maintain the dental wellness of the students and spread awareness regarding dental health and hygiene. Dentist visits are important in Early Childhood because the sooner children begin getting regular dental checkups, the healthier their mouths will stay throughout their lives. Early checkups help prevent cavities and tooth decay, which can lead to pain, trouble concentrating and other medical issues. Youngsters with healthy teeth chew food easily, learn to speak clearly and smile with confidence. Following the motto “Prevention is better than cure, " the Staff, teachers and Dentist Dr.Amey Marathe told the students to follow a schedule that keeps them fit orally and what sort of food provides better health. We are grateful to Dentist Dr. Amey Mara for his service.

Podar Prep #Kankavli organized an Eye Checkup Camp for the students under the guidance of the Respected Principal Mrs. Swati Kanase Ma'am. An eye checkup camp was crucial because a child's eye health is important for several reasons and good vision is essential for learning. Early detection and treatment of eye problems can prevent complications related to vision. Podar Prep took an initiative to ensure that the young podarites have healthy eyesight which helps them explore the world. We would like to thank you Dr.Prasad Gurav for his valuable time and guiding students how to take care of eyes.

At Podar Prep, Christmas was celebrated with the unique theme “Spread joy and cheer, Christmas is here”. Children participated in engaging activities and truly enjoyed themselves. Here are some photographs of our children enjoying the celebration.

At Podar Prep Master Chef event was celebrated as “Papa banaye Nani ki recipe” with enthusiasm and excitement by children and their family.

Podar Prep Kankavli celebrated the Annual sports Meet 2023-24 with the unique theme "Be a Sports with Jumbo! Children Parents and Grandparents enthusiastically Participated in races. Gandhiji and Shastriji Jayanti was celebrated at Podar Prep as “Homage to Bapu and Shastriji”. Our children and their families participated with full ethos and we all had lots of fun together doing all the activities.

Navratri is been celebrated at Podar Prep Kankavli as “Navratna – The Nine Intelligences” with fun filled activities. Day – 1- celebration was on Intra-personal and Inter-personal Intelligence.

Podar Prep In Podar International School #Kankavli conducted the Fire Safety Mock Drill and Evacuation-In continuation with the exercise to create awareness among the students about disaster management, a mock fire and evacuation drill involving students and teachers was conducted for all classes on 14th September 2023 to create awareness among the students about fire-fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. The mock drill was carried out in the school to prepare students and teachers for any such eventuality under the fire risk reduction programme. The purpose to organize the mock drill was to check the readiness of the school to face any such fire emergency. Here are a few gilimpses

The day was filled with exciting games and activities where children actively participated using their left hand. 1st Portfolio meet for A.Y. 2023-24 with the parents at Podar Prep Kankavli The Portfolio meet is designed to give parents one-on-one time with the teachers and the perfect time to discuss concerns and progress to help the child do their best work during the school year. Parents were shown the EYFS Portfolio file of each child.. Parents appreciated the concept of recording developmental stages of each child along with the teacher's observation.
