ADMISSION PROCESS
1. What is the admission process?
- Parents to come to the admission office and collect a registration kit for Jumbo Kids or application form for Std 1 onwards.
- A completed form along with the cheque for 1st term fees is to be returned by the parents to the school office.
- The student will only be considered a confirmed admission once the first term fees are paid by the student.
2. What is the cost of the registration Kit?
The application form and brochure for admissions in Podar International School (Std 1 onwards) is free.
The Jumbo Kids registration kit is on a chargeable basis. The registration kit includes an Application Form, PJK brochure and a book on Good Parenting.
3. What are the documents required at the time of admission?
The following documents are required to be submitted :
- Completed Online Application form.
- Photocopy of the student’s birth certificate and Aadhar Card (if applicable).
- School leaving certificate (can be submitted later if currently unavailable).
- UDISE Number (Unified District information System for Education) from current school (applicable for admissions from Std 1 onwards).
- Photocopy of the current class Report Card (applicable for admissions from Std 1 onwards).
- Photocopy of Address proof and Parent's Pan Card (original to be carried for verification).
- 3 passport size photographs of the student.
4. What kind of entrance test will be taken at the time of admission?
No written test is conducted at Podar School. Admissions are taken on a first come, first serve basis. In fact, any sort of entrance test is illegal as per law.
