Innovation in Science for Inspired Research scheme is one of the flagship programs of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

'INSPIRE' is an autonomous body of the Department of Science, aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years and studying in Classes 6 to 10.

'Manak' Million minds Augmenting National Aspirations and knowledge targets innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.

To nurture these curiosities and to make the students think out of textbooks into real life. And also acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world, the school science teacher Mr.E.Subramanyam motivated children in doing their best in their projects. Three students' projects were registered on Inspire Manak website, out of which one got selected. The selected project is of Sameeha's. Sameeha is from Grade 7.

As a part of this project, Sameeha has been awarded an INSPIRE Award of Rs.10000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) for the year 2021-22 for the further preparation of the Science project/model and to participate in the District Level Exhibition & Project Competitions (DLEPCs) to be organized by the District Education Authority.
