PIS-ICSE has conducted a session on Adolescence and Mental & Physical Health as part of the Achievers Meet.
The resource person, Dr. Renuka Loya, a renowned sexologist and cosmetic surgeon, enlightened the students with age-appropriate information about various physical, mental, and emotional changes during adolescence.
Students from Classes 8 and 9 attended the session and were guided on dos and don'ts, how to overcome fears, and addressing misconceptions. Dr. Loya also answered questions from the students on the proposed topic, making it a valuable session enriched with real-life examples.
The school Principal, Dr. Raghuveer Y. V., appreciated the honored efforts of the resource person with a memento.
PIS-ICSE celebrated AASHADI EKADASHI at the school premises on 16th July 2024. Children from Classes 1 to 4 came in traditional Varkari costumes, with some dressed as Vittal and Rukmini.
Some of the children delivered speeches regarding the importance of Aashadi Ekadashi, and others sang beautiful devotional songs. The campus was adorned with colorful attires and vibrant devotional music, creating a festive atmosphere.
PIS, ICSE celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day with the theme "Yoga for Self and Society."
Our beloved Principal, Dr. Raghuveer Y. V., introduced the guest of honor, Mr. Anand Agrawal (Chh. Sambhajinagar Vibhagiya Mantri of Bharat Yog Sansthan), and his eminent yoga team.
The team conducted the session with various asanas, pranayamas, and meditation techniques.
It was a great honor for all of us to be a part of International Yoga Day, which promotes the ancient and traditional practice of yoga that is an integral part of our culture and tradition.

Today, the investiture ceremony has been organized at PIS-ICSE, Chatrapati Sambhajinagar. It is a significant event that showcases the essence of leadership and responsibility. It is an occasion where deserving individuals are honoured and entrusted with the authority to lead and represent their respective roles.
As the ceremony commenced, the school Principal Dr. Raghuveer Y. V. addressed the newly elected council members. He emphasized the significance of leadership and the responsibilities associated with it. He expressed pride in the students who had been selected for various positions of authority, acknowledging their exemplary contributions, both academic and co-curricular. His motivational words ignited a fire within the hearts of the newly appointed leaders and the entire student community, fostering a spirit of determination and resilience.
Mr. Ravindra Rana, Principal of PIS - CBSE, was the chief guest for today’s occasion. He was honoured by our respected Principal with a shawl and bouquet. The chief guest addressed the council members and provided them with guidance.
After the oathing ceremony, the selected council members were honoured with their respective badges, including School Captain, Assistant School Captain, House Captain, Assistant Vice Captain, Sports Captain, and the Student Council members.
Podar International School ICSE conducted a mock fire drill.
The primary purpose of a fire drill is to ensure the safety of all occupants in a school building by practicing the evacuation procedures and familiarizing everyone with the proper steps to take in the event of a fire.
The school Principal Dr. Raghuveer Y. V. instructed the students about the use of fire extinguishers, related accessories, and the dos and don'ts during accidents such as a fire breakout.
