Sarojini Naidu's Birthday Celebration - 2018

PIS Chandrapur celebrated Sarojin Naidu's Birthday in the morning assembly. The aim was to make the student know about Ms.Naidu and her achievement. As per the docket Interview with Sarojini Naidu was conducted followed by reciting some of her poems (by heart) by some selected students.

69th Republic Day Celebration - 2018

PIS Chandrapur celebrated 69th Republic Day event at school premises.

Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Bandu Dhotre-an environmentalist, Wildlife conservator and social worker recognized by Indian Labour Organization,Chandrapur. Mr. Dhotre has initiated the mission to clean Chandrapur Fort since 1st March 2017 and has successfully completed the mission by 317 days and received an acclamation. Our Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi appreciated his efforts on his Radio Talk show-'Man Ki Baat'

Mr. Dhotre received Wildlife conservative award in the year 2009 by Vanrai Vidharbha Division. Also District Youth Award by Nehru Youth Centre,Youth Program and Sports Ministry, Govt. of India.

Program started by unfurling the National Flag by the Chief Guest and singing National Anthem.

This was followed by the parade by the Scouts and Guide students,Welcome Dance by the students of classes 1 and 2 followed by Acrobatic performances by the students.

Seminar on Traffic rules and Cyber crime - 2017

PIS Chandrapur hosted a seminar in coordination with Chandrapur Police(Office of the SP, Chandrapur) to create an awareness on Traffic Rules and Cyber Crime for our students during morning assembly.

The seminar started off with the performance of Police band who played various patriotic songs and finally National Anthem.

Mr. Sampat Chauhan -Traffic Inspector spoke on traffic rules and how to avoid road traffic accidents.

Mr. Muzwar Ali - from Cyber Crime dept.spoke on various internet games on smart phones and their vulnerability which leads to cyber crime. Mr. Ali also advised the students not to responds to various phone calls related to disclose ATM no. etc.

2nd Annual Day Celebration 2017-2018

PIS Chandrapur conducted their 2nd Annual Day event on Saturday 6th January 2018 at Priyadarshini Hall, Chandrapur.

Altogether 450 parents and guests turned out to witness the performance of the students.

The Chief Guest of the event was Mr. Sunil Deshpande -Bureau Chief of The Hitavada-an English Daily of Central India.

Mr. Deshpande has journalism experience of 35 years. He was the former member of the Censor Board of Marathi Drama;also former president of Maharashtra Union of working journalist. He has also directed 11 dramas and 8 one act plays.

Mr. Yogesh Mhatre GM Nagpur Hub ,Mrs. Mhatre, Ms.Lucky Sadrani Principal PIS Nagpur Katol -were the other dignitaries who attended the function.

A Question and Answer Session with Environmentalists 'Let's go Green' 2017

As per our ongoing event - Let's Go Green - It's Time to Save our Planet - PIS Chandrapur invited two environmentalists - Dr. Yogesh Dudhpachare - Prof. and HOD Dept. of Geog. and Mr. Umesh Deshmukh Lecturer : Botany of Janta Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur -to share their knowledge with our students. Students from grade 5th to 7th attended the session. After the brief introduction-the guests spoke on the subject and share their views to the students. Also make them understand the importance of the subject in their real life situations. The session was concluded with a question and answering session

2nd Annual Sports Day 2017-2018

PIS Chandrapur conducted the 2nd Annual Sports Day event from 8.30am. Mr. Anil Malve was the Chief Guest of the event. Program started off by March Past followed by torch run. After Oath ceremony the Chief Guest declared the sports event opened by releasing House colours balloons.

Children's Day Celebration - 2017

On 18th November 2017 PIS Chandrapur celebrated Children's Day with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day was relaxing for the students since it was the last day of the exam and students enjoyed the program which was short but crisp.

Program started by dedicating a melodious song by one of the staff member for the students followed by a poem was recited which highlighted the trails and tribulations of students. School dance teacher performed a solo dance

A group of teachers performed a dance too. At the end students were provided with mouth watering snacks.

Parent of the Fortnight: Session 2 - 2017

PIS Chandrapur conducted Parent of the Fortnight on Friday 3rd November 2017.

The speaker was Mr. Dilip Zade, B.E and M.B.A. (parent of Master Aditya Zade of class 7) Mr. Zade is the Chairman of Search Foundation school situated in Korpana taluka, Chandrapur .

This was our second session of Parent of the Fortnight. Students of grade 6th and 7th attended the lecture.

The topic for the session was Rural Development. The speaker spoke on the various areas of constraint the rural people are facing today. He addressed the congregation regarding the farmer's problem, lack of safe drinking water etc.The speaker asked the students to come forward to serve the rural people -once they completed their education.

The session was interactive. The students shown their eagerness to visit Korpana taluka and wanted to interact with the rural people.

Joy of Giving - 2017

The special event JOY OF GIVING was conducted on 27th and 28th October 2017. The main aim of event was to draw attention to the relationship between the grandparents and their grandchild. The students of PIS Chandrapur (classes 1 to 7) did several activities as per the docket for the last two days.
